Excellent service as always.

A new advisor - Stuart Burbridge has revitalised my interest in Laithwaites. He known what I like. He doesn't 'pester' me. It feels as if he's on my side!
Since he's been on board I've tried a lot of different wines and generally bought what he reccomends for me. He responds immediately to my enquiries.

There were some initial problems with the website not accepting a Laithwaites gift voucher and this required using their customer service line to rectify. My wine is now delivered and stored for a special occasion.

Booked two cases together and had to phone up to request 2nd case as it did not appear with the first case. When I spoke to the service desk, they could not fathom why the second case had not been sent with the first and said they would chase it up with the warehouse and find out for me. Nobody got back to me, but the second case turned up two days later. Thankfully I did not need them urgently, or I would not use Laithwaites again.

Ordered 2 boxes of 6 bottles for a visit to family and be delivered to them, paying for next day delivery. Had a missed call to say one of the boxes had missed the delivery slot, but it would be delivered the next day, unless I called to say otherwise.

The next day, the box was delivered over 200 miles from the delivery address (where we now were), left 'in a safe place' on a doorstep, in clear view of the street. After arranging for a neighbour to take the box in, Laithwaites arranged to deliver another box to the correct address and we could keep the box at home, with a £20 reduction.

Basically, we ended up buying more product, because of their mistake. And we got back to a £25 off voucher in the box we didn't really want, more discount than we were given for Laithwaites mistake.

Good customer service? Not for me and I won't be in any rush to order again.
