Terrible experience
my company stared using Medicash this year, where i'm supposed to claim back excess from private medical insurance. Every time I submit a claim, they decline it, even though I provide all the relevant documents. Last straw was claiming the excess from private medical insurance bill - I followed exactly what the app told me to upload, only then for it to be declined.. so I had to call them back and email them another and completely difference document. I will not be frustrated from chasing my claims, but I will recommend my company to stop using them.

Wanted to make a claim for my partner…
Wanted to make a claim for my partner in the App. Discover Medicash now no longer permit a partners policy to be managed on the same device as the main policyholder - myself.
We are elderly - have only one device. I do all the IT stuff. Q. Is this change fair? The premiums are claimed from a joint account in our names and claims paid directly into the same account.
Had no notification of this change. Spent roughly an hour of my time today trying to find my partners details on my app. Phoned the company - said I could make his claim via the website. This was ok for the first claim but froze on the second claim. So neither claim has gone through . Had to phone again and request a claim form to be posted out. Despite, policyholders being constantly encouraged to use the App. I’m going to cancel my plan after 15 years.
