To clarify, families can search the website and view carer profiles completely free of charge. A subscription is only required when you want to contact a carer, including reading and sending messages through the platform. Subscriptions can also be cancelled at any time, so there is no long-term commitment.
It’s also worth clarifying that carers can use MindMe completely free of charge. We don’t charge carers to create a profile, be visible to families or receive enquiries. Our aim is to make it as accessible as possible for carers to offer their services while giving families a straightforward way to find and connect with them.
We understand that paying for a subscription doesn’t guarantee that you’ll find the right match, but the purpose of the service is to provide families with access to a wide range of carers and allow them to make informed choices before deciding whether to get in touch.
We’re continually working to improve the experience, and we appreciate feedback that helps us identify where we can do better.

The volume of applications simply doesn’t justify this cost so I’ll have to go elsewhere even if that candidate would have been a great fit. I guess I’ll never know. In the meantime I’ve had 3 high quality applicants on a local Facebook page whom I’ll be interviewing.

While posting a job is an important first step, we generally recommend that families also use our search function to proactively browse and contact carers in their area. Many carers may not apply directly to job posts but are actively seeking work and respond positively when contacted by families. Using both approaches together typically leads to more conversations and better outcomes.
We understand that paying to access applications can feel disappointing when the response volume is lower than expected. However, childcare and care recruitment is often about finding the right match rather than receiving a large number of applications. A single high-quality candidate can ultimately be more valuable than dozens of unsuitable applicants, and many families find that investing a little extra time in searching and connecting with carers directly helps them find the best fit for their needs.

As a carer advertising for work this has been a complete waste of money. I paid for 6 months in advance but I think I will just delete my profile. Every Monday I get a message telling me about "new jobs in my area". It's the same 4 jobs that I saw when I signed up 2 months ago.
There is a feature called "elite carer" which you can provide proof of your qualifications and references to become verified. I've submitted the requested documents and references twice. It still lists on my profile as "awaiting requested documents". I've followed up with them to ask what else they need but never received a response. It appears the only way to get a reply from this company is to leave a negative review of them somewhere. They will respond to that.
Also, to echo what others have said, the costs are very high for what little the site actually does. I placed an ad in a local Facebook group for free and had several enquiries in the first 2 weeks.
For any carers thinking about listing an ad, read all the reviews here before giving Mindme.ie your money.

Carers can register and continue to use the platform free of charge for as long as they wish. We also offer an optional subscription for carers who would like to feature their profile for increased visibility, but this is entirely optional.
Job alerts are automatically generated based on the location entered on your profile. We also recommend using the Search function to browse all available opportunities in your area, as this can often provide additional options. Our support team would be happy to assist with this, and you can contact them at support@mindme.ie
Regarding the Elite Carer feature, this service is not currently live on the site. A reply was sent to your email to advise of this, so we would recommend checking your inbox (and spam/junk folder, if needed).
In addition to email support, our team is also available via the live chat feature on our website homepage during business hours and we would be happy to help with any further queries.

Definitely a scam- a number of times I have posted an ad on mind me looking for afterschool help. All applicants when I meet them in person complain once I potentially offer them the job that the hours are not enough (clearly stated on my ad and backed up in person).

You can check this by logging into your account and going to My Account and just click Preview. Please reach out to our support team by emailing support@mindme.ie or through the instant chat on our website. Someone from our team will walk you through everything and make sure you feel fully reassured.
Monthly fees to contact carers
Wish the fees were more transparent when registering. Someone who only wants to post one job shouldn't pay monthly fees I think. Perhaps a once off payment but what's being demanded for access to carer contacts is outrageous me thinks

Difficult to navigate website
The website is extremely difficult to navigate, with confusing and counterintuitive UX. My active subscription status was hidden under a “Help on Membership” section, making it unclear that I was still being charged. This lack of transparency led to unintended subscription fees. Very poor user experience, would not recommend.

MindMe.ie is a subscription service that gives you access to our large database of caregivers. You can post a free advert to see if it attracts candidates, and only subscribe when you're ready to contact them.
You can cancel your subscription anytime. If you only need it for a month, just cancel before the month ends and you'll only be charged for that month.
Be aware of auto-subscription without a monthly receipt email!
I thought this was a grand functional site until I realised my subscription was continuing months after I'd used the site. Please email subscribers a monthly invoice or bill or receipt on a monthly basis to make us aware that we are auto-subscribed!!

Your monthly invoice is available to view and download from your account. Just like any other subscription, your MindMe.ie membership automatically renews. We highlight this on our billing and Membership Plan pages, but we understand that if you're focused on finding care or a job, you may not always see it right away. While most members are aware of the auto-renewal, some may not notice it. There’s a reason for this.
We renew memberships because we don’t know where you are in your search. Everyone’s journey is different, and it can take time to find the right fit. If we stopped your membership when it expired, you'd lose access to the information you’ve gathered. By keeping your membership active, you can continue your searches and contact care providers without interruptions.
If you’ve found what you need and no longer want the full membership, you can downgrade to a free Basic account.

MindMe.ie is a subscription service which allows you to gain access to our extensive database of Carers and respond to applications from candidates. You can use the Search function to look for carers in your area and you can also create an advert for free to evaluate if your ‘Caregiver position’ attracts candidates.
To view mail and to contact Caregivers you need to subscribe. There are different ‘Membership plans’ which can be availed of and which can be cancelled at any time.
Let’s talk about the bait and switch
Update- they contacted me and said I need to refine my search which I did and yet I still only get one sitter in my area and the ones that were closer to me before I paid disappeared. I do not recommend this website. If I could give zero stars I would. I will contact my bank as I paid for nothing. I got a sitter elsewhere in the end.

Not worth the high cost
It was expensive and a person who was supposed to be vetted and had all kinds of credentials turned out to be someone who should not be left with vulnerable people. Did not know how to clean and demanded to be paid even when the workshe'd been asked to do wasnt done properly. Whentold she needed to redo the work she became abusive and began screaming about calling thepolice. It was so automatic that it indicated this was something that'd worked on vulnerable people before.
