Great Service
Mindme is a gem of a find on the net!! Our creche was closed, So we needed to urgently find a childminder to look after the boys the process was simple and quick.

It's extremely expensive for what it is. Every message is appended with "..." for some reason, which is very frustrating. You can specify the times you want someone for, but you can't search for nannies matching that schedule.
The mobile app is barely working with lots of buttons stuck, half-functional etc.
On the last day of my paid subscription they just blocked my account preventing me from sending the messages for no reason.
The only reason it's not 1 star is because there are actually nannies and babysitters there. But the software sucks completely.

Hi Audrey, we are really sorry to hear you are not satisfied with our service. We have a dedicated support team to assist with any issues you experience. You may be using an older version of the app, and a simple uninstall/reinstall solves any issues. We take the security of our members seriously and we run security checks from time to time, which can limit messaging for a short time on a random sample of accounts. There are different ‘Membership plans’ which can be availed of and which can be cancelled at any time. We do value your feedback.
Great Website
Mindme provided a great service and i found a carer within a week :) Good value for money and super helpful. I would be happy to recommend them to parents looking for help.

Mindme provides little value to its users given the high prices it charges.
Mindme is not a good service. Their business model is to charge a very high fee (€25) to access results from their matching service to see if any potential minders in your area match your needs.
The minders have no meaningful background checks of either their qualifcations, claimed skills, emplyment history or criminal background.
Finally in addition to signing up for the high monthly fee you must do so in an auto renew model that is very difficult to get out of and which charged me for a month beyond when I (eventually found out how to and) terminated my access.
This is a service of little value and not far off a scam exploiting parents.

You can create an advert for free to evaluate if your Caregiver position attracts candidates and only subscribe when you wish to make contact. There are different Membership plans starting at €19.99, which can be availed of and which can be cancelled at any time. Many carers are Garda vetted, have qualifications and references, all of which can be checked. Thank you for your feedback.
