I have had, and I am having a wonderful experience using my umbrella company called nasa as they provide an excellent and high quality service. On 11/09/26, Tommy Holzherr in the payroll department, provided an exceptional, excellent, high quality and outstanding service to me where he was so efficient, diligent, proactive and helping in contacting my employment agency to ensure I was backdated my hourly rate of pay I was owed, which he did without me even asking him to do, and then by 13/09/26, he emailed me to say my agency has confirmed the backdated payment to be paid in this weeks payment, and by 17/09/26, he emailed me again to confirm nasa payroll has received the approved timesheet with the backdated payments alongside my usual weekly timesheet. This was unbelievably quick and I don’t know how he did it as it was so effortless for him as this payment was outstanding since I started the role beginning of July 2026. It just goes to show that you need the right umbrella company and the right person to help you who went the extra mile and did his job outstandingly and brilliantly, so thank you so much, Tommy. I’m ever so grateful and pleased for what you did and you are one of those who have made my experience at nasa a pleasure and happy experience. Within a few days from 11/09/26 to 17/09/26, he achievable success for me! I hope you get a promotion, Tommy and that nasa recognises the wonderful and excellent service you provide and they notice that you are an extraordinary person. Thanks once again! Negative points, over complicated payslips
Setting up my initial contract took far too long and resulted in delayed payment for overtime and call-outs. This has now been paid but they then charged me a monthly fee alongside the fees I had already paid for them to do this work.
Overcharging on their fees. interim fees generated for spurious payments which was due to the delayed contract.
Sadly forced to use them over my previous Umbrella due to new rules through my agency. Sadly not recommended so far on my experience with NASA
Having seen the reply I have now reduced the rating to one star. Perhaps come the new financial year it will be time to change. There is a saying in sales, get good service you tel 1 person, get bad service you tell 10 people.

I have used NASA Umbrella on and off since 2017, the quality of the service has been consistently high since 2017. The 'off' times are when I am working in a permanent role.

Payroll always accurate and paid on time. Delays with payroll tracked back to employment agency delays with forwarding paperwork to NASA.

I have asked many and varied questions to NASA (by email and phone) and always received prompt and accurate responses.

I am going to a permanent role now after 14 months with NASA. I would 100% recommend to family and friends and 100% go back to NASA Umbrella as my payroll provider. Thank you very much, NASA team. Excellent service.

I’m doing my first contract role and looked at several umbrella company options. I went with Nasa because provided lots of clear information on their fee and operation structure, and their fees for processing salary sacrifice payments were lower than competitors.

Additionally the teams at Nasa are very responsive and helpful.

Working for Nasa has made contracting simple again. No limited company red tape with ever increasing taxes and fees.
Nasa has low fees and a good support network in place for salary and pensions.

I had a very frustrating experience with NASA Umbrella. Their onboarding process is slow and disorganized. Despite providing all the necessary information, it took them over a week to set things up, and they repeatedly asked me to do their administrative work for them. Communication was chaotic, with different staff members giving conflicting or vague updates. I ultimately had to cancel my registration before even starting and requested my data be deleted under GDPR. If you need a reliable provider that respects your time, look elsewhere.

The NASA team has been amazing, I've been with NASA for years and never had bad experience. They always quick to respond and always happy to help with requests! Thank you!!
