Waits until the last minute to send supplies
I dislike the fact that RA Fisher waits until the last minute to send my mother‘s purewicks out often ending up with 3 to 5 days of no wicks for her reworks. I realize it’s a Medicare issue but RA Fisher needs to push harder to get them approved. My mother is a severe fall risk.

Fred, we appreciate you bringing this up and we understand why the timing is frustrating. We do want to clarify that RA Fischer does not intentionally wait to send supplies. Medicare regulations determine when the next 30-day supply can be processed, and we're required to follow those guidelines.

To all Medicare patients that were…
To all Medicare patients that were told, the pure wick catheters were covered under Medicare beware. We just got an email from RA Fisher, which is the company that has supposedly been sending them covered and no payment.
The email stated that Medicare pays $400 a month for a box of 30. They bill Medicare $550 for 1 box. We owe $1903 for last year. You can buy them directly from pure wick for $189 or Amazon for an average price of $139.
Our insurance and government is so screwed up no wonder companies are out there scamming and getting away with it. We will go back to buying them from Amazon to save $excellent 300 a year.

Coverage and patient responsibility depend on Medicare's determination for each claim.
We understand how unexpected costs can be frustrating, especially when comparing insurance billing with retail purchasing options. Our team would be happy to review the claims with you directly and explain how Medicare processed them, including any deductible or patient responsibility that applied and amounts that were not covered by your secondary insurance.

I am so very thankful for the RA Fischer Co. It has provided me with great assistance for my mother who is bedridden. The monthly reminder of supply reorder email and text are tremendously helpful. I often get caught up caretaking and this keeps me on track so that we will have MUCH NEEDED supplies on hand. They arrive in a timely manner each month.
