The driver was excellent and took us to…
The driver was excellent and took us to places we enjoyed. The hotel was comfortable and staff were friendly. However the food was not so good as it was left under the buffet heat lamps which made it dry and over cooked. Due to the oncoming storm we had to leave the Island a day early. The hotel in Bournemouth was excellent and the breakfast first class. Overall it was an enjoyable holiday.

I went on my own. Very anxious
I went on my own very anxious, but before long I felt like I was with friends. Great trips. Our driver Michael was great, instantly calming, chatty and helped bond the group. Lovely hotel and staff. Best holiday ive had and already rebooked to go back next year with people I met on this one. Just hoping we get Michael as our driver again to make it perfect.

Great trip, worth doing
Very smooth pick up & drive to Blackpool and beyond. Driver Jamie was excellent. The hotel was clean & the food very good. Our room was a little small & flooring a little tired but was clean & towels white & soft. Tables in the dining room were a little squashed but didn’t cause us too much trouble. Good entertainment and helpful staff.
Hotel well positioned.
I would go back again hence the 5 star review.

Seat reservation charges rediculous
Managed to book my holiday but felt sorry for the customer service gentleman with all the add ons he was expected to push. Think the charge for reserving your seat was ridiculous as the holiday is a bus holiday and therefore they have to provide you with a seat

Pendle Witch & Ribble Valley: A Haunting Weekend.
I have given this break 2 stars because we had a very good driver and a really nice hotel. However, It was very badly organised and poor value for money.
The driver was very helpful. He was driving in very bad weather conditions but I felt perfectly safe.
The hotel was a 4* Spa hotel, but there wasn't really any time to make use if the spa facilities.
On Saturday we spent most of the day sitting on the coach, killing time. We should have had a local guide for the day, but he didn't show up. Our diver didn't have any details for the guide so had to contact the Shearings office. We were eventually told that the guide had double-booked himself and only realised he had when Shearings contacted him to ask why he hadn't turned up. So, apparently Shearings don't bother to confirm bookings with local guides.
On Sunday, on the way home, we had a stop in Lancaster, but I think we didn't really have enough time there.
I complained to Shearings and received a standard reply that looked like a script, which they tweak to suit any complaint.
