Speedy and efficient
The measurement and installation were both completed smoothly. There were a few issues post installation, but after sales help was always provided in a speedy and efficient manner. We are delighted with our new garden door！

Excellent experience
From the start of my interactions with the sales team, through to installation and aftercare I have been impressed with the company.
I very much liked the approach of the Sales Designer. I didn't feel any hard sell or fake offers rushing me into making a decision (which was a very different approach compared to some of the other companies I got quotes from, that made me feel really uncomfortable). He was informative, approachable and helpful.
A Project Manager was assigned to us (we were changing from an existing orangery to a solid roofed extension with all new windows and doors). He answered all of my questions promptly and in full and visited the our home several times during the install. From other renovations we've learnt that a good Project Manager who is ideally not one of the actual team physically doing the renovation work, is key for oversight and to have time to respond and communicate with customers. After a bad experience previously with another company, I did have a lot of questions, but he was always polite, nothing was too much trouble and he was always able to get me an answer quickly. He was flexible and planned the timeline around me and a couple of days when I was unavailable etc.
In terms of after care I only had a couple of very small snags and they were resolved promptly with someone visiting our house quickly to do the work.
The price was fair compared to other companies we got quotes from, but the most outstanding thing that I was impressed with the most was the timeline. Where other companies couldn't give me any kind of install date or just a vague one, I got a full timeline from Trent Valley immediately and it was kept to and in fact exceeded. I couldn't believe the speed of the work from me paying the deposit to completion. The install team worked in bad weathers to get it completed on time and the Project Manager planned other trades such as plasterers and electricians, perfectly around the installers.
I would definitely use Trent Valley Windows again for other renovations and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them based on my experience. Thank you to all the team involved, we love our new extension!

Over 13 Months – Still No Final Building Regulation Certificate! (Con’t)
We’ve been waiting over 13 months for our final Building Regulation Certificate—more than 4 times the standard 3-month timeframe provided by the approved inspector. The lack of accountability and communication has been appalling.
The staff member responsible for certificate handling went on 3–4 months' leave in 2025, and we were told no one could access her files during that time. There was no backup or support, which is completely unprofessional for a company managing legal compliance.
In June 2025, the inspector contacted us directly requesting additional evidence—clearly, the documentation your company provided wasn’t sufficient. That was the moment we realized we had to step in ourselves to fix what should’ve been your responsibility.
We even visited your Nottingham showroom (Brookfields Garden Centre) in person—twice—and offered to pay for a new job just to move things along. We were turned away and told the installation team would follow up. They never did.
Since March 2025, we’ve had no option but to deal directly with the inspector—submitting our own photos and chasing updates ourselves.
To this day, no call, no update, no resolution from your team. Just empty promises that someone is “working on it.”
Absolutely awful and ongoing experience. Poor communication, zero ownership, and a total lack of aftercare. We’re sharing our story so no one else ends up in this situation.

Excellent service from Trent Valley Windows
Trent Valley built our conservatory in 2019. We were very pleased with the entire process from start to finish and felt we were listened to and our wishes always acted upon. Over the years , we have needed a few minor repairs doing (as you would to any new building) and they have always responded quickly and efficiently to any requests. I am very happy with Trent Valley Windows’ services. The quality of windows they installed for me is excellent. The installation went smoothly, and the fitters did a great job. Their customer service is very good. I needed my back door to be adjusted months after installation. They acted promptly and came same day I called them to fix it. They have real humans to speak to of any issue or problem with windows after installation. I would definitely use them again. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants hassle-free windows installation and reliable after sales care.

The windows that we had fitted in…February
The windows that we had fitted in February of this year are truly 5 star. The fitters went the extra mile to ensure that job was completed on time and to a very high standard. TVW also didn’t insist on their final payment until the work completed to our satisfaction.
If there’s anything that they could’ve improved on it was communication. Other than that I would be more than happy to recommend them to future customers, thanks team

Our first contact was with the rep who prepared the quotation, very polite, helpful listened and then advised. Second contact the surveyor who made sure what we needed was what we got, took good time to ensure positive outcome Third contact the installation team polite skilful clean very workmanlike, nothing too much.
