I do not regret many things, trusting Winkworth Kingsbury I definitely regret. Empty promises, a too high valuation to lure me, miserable communication, intransparent, blurring around etc.
Their incompetence meanwhile caused real financial damage. Twice.

We sold our property through Winkworth Greenwich in 2024 and not only did they do a fantastic job (John Mook, Guy Epps and the whole team) but the photos Deborah Kirby took of our property were amazing. I am a big believer that if you have great photos it makes a huge difference. Massive shout out to Deborah for taking such beautiful photos! Thank you! :)

This is our second time round with Winkworth, and again they let our flat in record time. Very responsive and helpful.

Totally unprofessional staff. I rented in London for 1 year and they treated me like they were slumlords. I was paying almost 3K for a 2 bed flat and when I first entered I was supplied with a soiled bed. They refused to replace it. When it come to getting my deposit back they tried to pin things on me that contractors did, and charged me hundreds for cleaning... even though the flat was cleaned to a professional level when I left. Use literally any other agent, especially shy away from the Fulham office.

Tom and Nicola from the Blackheath office at Winkworths managed the sale of our London flat. They were excellent, they kept everything moving forward, made sure everybody was up to date and informed and were friendly and helpful at all times. I can highly recommend them.

I bought a property trough from them, I have appointed a solicitor and paid their fee , sorted out mortgage paid valuation and searches on the property and they sold the property to someone else, lost thousands in fees , they didn’t even call me to tell me what was going on, i had to go to property to find out what was going on! Worst experience i ever had with estate agents!

Made an appointment for valuation which was confirmed by email. Last minute they cancelled and just said they don’t want to visit.

My family and I were the buyers and we worked with Alex Paul, Alex Mills and Patrick Delvin across the process. They were polite, helpful, responsive, and available consistently despite the process lasting a couple of months due to the nature of the transaction. It was a pleasure working with them and my family highly recommend Winkworth.

Winkworth Crediton have failed to do their due diligence and are about to ruin my chain, all because they never established communication with one of the main parties involved with the property they are selling! I am 2 weeks away from my final move date an no exchange has been made because they cannot make contact with one of the sellers. I had the same issue back in November and instead of them getting all the legal documents to sign to this person they have waited this late to chase him for the signature on the exchange! I am lost for words! I spent 2 days trying to get hold of someone to talk to about this matter. Terrible at answering phones and terrible at managing the sale of their property!

My experience with Winkworth Fulham has been deeply disappointing. Shortly after moving into a property in mid-October, I discovered that construction noise from the ground floor was unbearable, making it impossible to study or rest. This construction, as confirmed by workers, had started months earlier, yet this critical information was never disclosed to us before signing the tenancy agreement.

When I raised this issue, Winkworth not only denied knowledge of the construction but also showed no intention of helping resolve the matter. At a meeting I attended, I was faced with three representatives who seemed solely focused on defending the company’s interests rather than addressing my concerns. The lack of empathy, understanding, and professionalism in handling this situation has been shocking.

I cannot recommend Winkworth based on this experience. Transparency and support for tenants are basic expectations, and unfortunately, Winkworth failed on both counts.

I've relied on six different estate agents over the years and these were hands down the best. Skilled, honest, and absolutely committed. Ours was a complex transaction, we made it to completion due to their immense hard work, they never skipped a day in supporting me and chased and negotiated with everyone in the chain until we got there! Couldn't have done it without them - thank you.

Winkworth Greenwich were an absolutely fantastic team to work with. They remained professional throughout the sale process, keeping us informed from both sides of our chain and also pushing the most out of all the estate agents, clients and solicitors to reach a moving date. Really root agent. Not even polite to answering the questions. After this I don't even wanna deal with such a people. The agent name was Nishi Shah.
Just in case. Doesn't even wanna answer any question, forcing people to do whatever he/she want. Avoid this agency

Very positive experience - John and Guy were both very helpful throughout the process. They were regularly checking in with me and the seller if things are on track and were answering my questions. I was part of the chain, the sale process involved multiple parties and they brought it to a successful end despite few challenges on the way. I highly recommend.

Have worked with John Mook on several properties over the years and he is honest and straight talking, which you don't find much in agency these days. Highly recommend.

I engaged the Leigh on Sea branch to sell my late Mum’s flat, the market at the time was depressed, thanks to Liz and Kwazi, so I decided to rent it out for six months, the letting side were excellent, thanks Lucie, if anything needed doing to the flat they told me what was needed and saw that it was carried out swiftly.
The eventual sale was tortuous, thanks in no small part to the freeholders solicitor and the directors operating in a parallel universe, but Winkworth settled the buyers nerves and the deal was done. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul, Mark and the rest of the team for getting me across the line.
