Nicole at Winkworth West Hampstead has been professional, approachable and helpful throughout our purchase of a new home. She really pushed the matter along and was a pleasure to deal with throughout. Can't rate you highly enough!

Any landlord tempted by low management fees should beware. A senior person in the property management department at Winkworth, Blackheath, wrote to me as follows. Read carefully and draw your own conclusions.

"please take into consideration that we manage nearly 450 properties within our portfolio and while we make our best efforts to reply as soon as possible to emails we receive there may be other issues that we need to prioritise our time with. While a pressing issue to you, a non-working washer dryer would be a low priority in comparison to dealing with a leak or lack of heating or hot water,"

Winkworth Blackheath charged me 6 per cent management fee. At the end things went disastrously wrong.

Question for Winkworth. Does the statement above reflect the level of service anyone letting a property through Winkworth can expect?

Inept operations management for deposit process. Deliberate obfuscation of evidence & communication with landlord. Would not recommend using - plenty of other options with better processes.

The property manager Michael F was good throughout the tenancy. But there was a complete lack of communication and responsibility for deposit process. It felt like the letting agent was a veil for a landlord to exploit us as tenants financially, versus an intermediary upholding due process.

We just moved and used Winkworth and everything was good. Thanks to Anila, she is great in doing her job and quick to reply to the emails.

I've been with Winkworth Hendon for 17 years maybe longer. ''The business was recently sold and I was concerned about how the new management would work for us. I worried unnecessarily-everyone working for Winkworth (Hendon) management has done a superb job and I have great faith in them They are super efficient, use IT well and are very responsive-not a weak link.

The process in finding the right house in the right area, with a long list of must haves was a challenge. This was an achieved at speed and the journey through the entire process, through to document completion was seemlees.

I had a very disappointing experience with Winkworth Property Agency Reading Tilehurst. I expected a smooth and professional process while purchasing a property, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

Firstly, their communication was extremely poor. I had to constantly chase them for updates regarding the purchase, and most of the time, my calls and emails were left unanswered. When they did respond, the information was vague and unhelpful. As a customer, I expected clear and prompt communication, especially when dealing with something as important as a property purchase.

Secondly, the way they handled the entire purchasing process was highly unprofessional. There were unnecessary delays and no clear guidance from their end. It felt like they did not care about my concerns or needs as a customer. I had to do most of the follow-ups myself, and even then, I received very little support from their team.

Moreover, I felt that they lacked basic respect towards their customers. Instead of being helpful and courteous, their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. This made the entire process extremely stressful and unpleasant.

I would strongly advise anyone considering Woinkworkth Property Agency to think twice before dealing with them. I hope they seriously work on improving their communication, customer service, and professionalism to avoid disappointing more customers in the future.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Michael Foldvari at Winkworth Tilehurst. Throughout the process, there was a complete lack of communication and professionalism. I was never provided with proper updates regarding the property, and despite multiple attempts to get in touch, my inquiries were either ignored or met with vague responses.

To make matters worse, the communication I did receive was rude and unprofessional. As a customer, I expected a much higher standard of service, but unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and unacceptable.

I would not recommend dealing with Michael Foldvari and Winkworth Agency due to the poor handling of clients and lack of basic courtesy. A more customer-focused and professional approach is needed.

Me and my partner are so grateful we found our dream first place to rent. Tarin was amazing, great communiation and Winkworth made the whole process super smooth in preparing for our move.

We rented a property through Winkworth on Gloucester Road. Turned out to be one of the most horrendous experiences of my life. Landlord was a close relative of the Directors at Winkworth, unbeknownst to us, and she was utterly awful as a landlord. Towards the end of our second year, we received an email from Winkworth demanding that we pay a 50% rent increase, we counter offered in line with RPI, only to be ghosted by the lettings director. They then tried to serve a Section 21 notice on us, which was invalid as the landlord hadn't done a Gas Safety Certificate for 2 years, voiding a section 21. Ultimately we moved out after the landlord started harassing us, including showing up on our doorstep and going crazy at us. Winkworth failed us completely as tenants, do not rent through them, you will be sorry.

Melody and her team from Winkworth Hackney are a HUGE scam. Speking from a landlord's point of view, they charge you for services that they do not perform. They double charge for everything and literally take over your property with scam charges so the landlord ends up with nothing. I would not recommend any landlord to use this company.

We had a great overall experience with Winkworths. Nicola from the East Dulwich branch was superb. She was extremely helpful in closing out our sale which had a few challenges along the way- she regularly kept us informed, offered helpful advice and even was in touch on our behalf with ours and the buyers solicitors. We really appreciated all Nicola’s help and guidance.

I won’t waste my time any further, their awful communication skills were already a red flag.

Sam's expertise, judgement, and efforts were crucial in re-letting my property to good tenants at a higher rate within the timescale he specified. I'm impressed by Sam's and Winkworth's Kingsbury's efficiency, professionalism, knowledge and courteousness. I highly recommend Winkworth's letting services.

Winkworths Kensal Rise managed a short let for me, three months for a family who were between properties. They were helpful and efficient throughout the process and there were no problems with the house. I would trust the team there to manage another let for sure.

Winkworth caused so many issues and even their head office were dreadful to deal with. When things go wrong they do not step up and are defensive and dishonest in their responses.

I would recommend contacting the property redress company for any problems with this company. This way you have more opportunity to get a fair resolution.
