We have used many estate agents over the years but Winkworth Highcliffe have been the best yet. They valued our house 50K above the other two agents (they did say it was a punt but worth a go) it sold in a week & the sale was managed beautifully with I would say were difficult buyers. Mike & Nick managed the situation with the perfect balance of friendliness & professionalism. They ever failed to respond to any query the day it was raised. 100% recommend if you are selling a house in the area of Highcliffe dont bother with anyone else.

The guys were amazing, Mike. Harvey and Nick. We had our bungalow on the market for 3 years and tried the estate agents in New Milton who were complacent and unsuccessful. Winkworths took us on they were extremely professional, knowledgeable and understanding. The sales team viewed our bungalow before showing buyers round which non of the other agents had done. Sold it fairly quickly too. Cannot rate them highly enough.

We were delighted when last week we sold our 1 bed flat in Greenwich and we would like to thank the excellent team at Winkworth Greenwich, Guy, John, Gillian and Deborah in particular. The team were a joy to work with and we cannot praise their hard work, dedication and attention to detail enough.

Winkworth Chiswick allows newborn babies to live around black mould. Dear all at Winkworth Chiswick, would you be happy to raise your family in a home plagued with black mould? To spend hours every week scrubbing mould off of your walls and ceilings, spending your hard earned money on dehumidifiers and freezing over the winter months as you have to keep your windows open 24/7? Would you accept losing £500 worth of possessions due to mould? Would you accept mould on your 1 month old child’s cot? I’m sure you wouldn’t. But you made me feel like a nuisance, begging and pleading for the mould issue to be addressed.
I hope that I was simply the unlucky one, and your other tenants are given more care and respect. Take this as a learning opportunity, and STOP allowing lazy landlords to keep tenants in unsuitable conditions, especially when the issues are reported to you personally.

When finding a flat to rent, we had a particularly good experience with Lettings Manager James from Winkworth's Hammersmith branch, who was super friendly, really helpful and got the process in motion so quickly! He went out of his way to be available for help and advice whenever we needed it and made the process so easy. We couldn't have been happier!

Bought a house with Winkworth as the estate agents - they were super helpful and prompt in chasing solicitors, keeping me updated, and getting me information I asked for. as a letting agent they were great, and no less as a selling agent, I feel they went above and beyond.

I'm not surprised that most of the positive reviews are from landlords. As a renter this has been a trotuous experience from a company that has not reviewed the tenant journey in many years; it is a take it or leave it attitude.

We were instructed to sign the rental contract before seeing the inventory and escalated this to a director. His only input was to ask us whether we had viewed the property. There was no interest in reviewing our concerns or engaging with us.

After signing the contract we then received a document which was called an inventory - it was not. It was 179 pages - yes - 179 pages of A4, with firstly lots of terms and conditions in tiny print, then content designed to hold us to account for the slightest issue when we come to move out. It is a backside covering document.

There was no specific inventory just telling us what was included in the rental.

We can cope with this if someone in the company at least made the effort to pretend that they care about tenants. It felt as we were being bullied into complying as there were plenty of other tenants waiting if we did not toe the line. The rental market needs a serious readjustment.

They have renters over a barrel and they know it and beave accordingly.

As always, the agents in lettings are extremely professional and efficient. I have had only positive experiences with them and am happy to work them again as they have found my new tenants.

Winkworths Palmers Green helped me enormously as a landlord recently. Curtis was friendly and polite right from the start and dealt with my numerous queries efficiently. Mabs was very professional and informative. A great tenant was found for us and I have no hesitation in recommending any landlord to use their services.

Winkworth's have been awful since the day we moved into our property.

Having agreed before hand that hooks and scuffs would be tidied up and removed from the walls they have since not been able to come to an agreement with the landlord around the price for this and due to sheer boredom we have stopped chasing and of course they have done nothing.

Around two months after moving into the property the oven and microwave broke at the same time.

Simple enough fix and an email went to our letting agents who pointed us to the dreaded "fixflo", winkworths way of abdicating responsibility or actually doing anything.

A week later an engineer arrives who informs us there are two faulty parts in both the oven and microwave.

Again simple fix, order the parts and nothing they could do about faulty parts, however we have heard nothing about this to the point where Winkworth's never even registered In their system an engineer attended.

Our property manager, on eventually replying to calls and emails, informed us there was no record of a visit (even though he booked it in) and we needed to start the process again.

Twenty days later a new technician appears, again saying two faulty parts.

This was 2 days ago (23 days total with no oven or real way of cooking) and we still have had no parts ordered or any timeline for when our kitchen will work.

Awful property managers avoid renting with them

All of the sales team at Winkworth's Blackheath office were an absolute pleasure to deal with during the sale of our property. Particular praise must go to Maisie who just never let her enthusiasm wain throughout the whole time. Her guidance throughout was really appreciated. Nicola also got the final sale over the line with great aplomb, playing all the right moves at the right times as needed. Steve was also on hand whenever needed to ensure we were well looked after by his team. I can't praise all of you at the Blackheath branch enough !! Tim

I have rented out my property via Winkworths in Kensal Rise for several years. The service has always been excellent. Quality tenants found, efficient service, excellent market knowledge and a great relationship with tenants and landlord. Invaluable advice re the timing of renewing tenancies and serving notice. Aaron in particular has been excellent to work with.

I had a good overall experience with Winkworth. Their team worked hard to ensure smooth processes and clear communication. Some staff members, like Michael and John, went above and beyond, showing real dedication and professionalism. While there were slight hiccups in customer service at specific branches, the overall support was reliable and thorough. Would recommend.

Winkworth Greenwich excels at great communication and never compromising on excellent service. They were laser-focused at getting the best deal for us and seeing it all through in spite of any setbacks.
