The whole order journey was very efficient from getting a quote to delivery. One of the key elements was that the pricing was also very competitive for the ordinary man on the street (not a company).

Disappointed
You had a couple of goes at providing the quote I had requested before getting the items right. However, all was correct on the order and the delivery note, but one large window was missing from the order. This required fitting being rescheduled for the following week, so not what I had expected. Detail is all

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review although I am disappointed that you haven't had the best experience.
We do our best to get all quotes accurate first time however as we personally prepare the quotes there is still an element of human error. I can see from the email trail with you we were fast to action any amendments, so I hope you found this satisfactory.
With regards to the delivery being short we are as disappointed as you. This delivery went directly from the manufacturer to yourself. We ordered the correct number of items but there was a picking error on the manufacturers end which resulted in you receiving one less large window.
We were notified of this by your installer and actioned a replacement immediately by expediting delivery to you in 2 working days when the standard lead time is 5-6 working days. I dealt with this personally with your installer to try to minimise disruption, unfortunately the install date did have to be changed which is not the outcome we wanted.
This is a real shame as everyone apart from the people at fault have been impacted negatively.
I tried to call this morning to apologise personally but there was no answer. If you would like to discuss further, then please feel free to get in touch.

Even though we were not happy with the product, they were swift to responed when we wanted to return them. They collected for free all they asked was that we secured the packaging ready for collection. When they received the returned goods they reimbursed or money within a week!

Velux windows
Excellent communication, competitive price with delivery as scheduled. We had 3 windows with flashing but unfortunately one of the windows was slightly damaged on the inside, with fairly substantial damage to one of the flashing. I can only assume that during the delivery process somebody dropped one and hoped nobody said anything? I am sure if we complained they would have been replaced but this would have taken time and determination on our part to prove it wasn't us. Otherwise everything is brilliant......

We always encourage our customers to let us know if a window arrives damaged and we will rectify the issue as swiftly & promptly. Our carriers should inform us of any damage but unfortunately, it’s impossible to tell if the window inside the box is damaged or not. I want to reassure we would never send out a damaged roof window in hopes you or any of our customers would stay quiet.
Although, your decision was to keep the damaged roof window. If you can send us images of the roof windows damage to marketing@yarddirect.com. We will pass our feedback onto our carriers and can see if there is anyway the damage can be repaired.
