After finding the item I wanted online, I visited their Gillingham store where I was served by the lovely Laura. She was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, making my visit very pleasant!

Piercing at Allum and Sidaway Gillingham
I recently went into the Gillingham branch of Allum and Sidaway to have my daith piercing done.
I don’t usually write reviews but I have to share my experience as I was so impressed.
I was very nervous about getting the piercing as I am really not good with needles. From the moment I stepped into the shop I was instantly put at ease by the members of staff they were all so warm and friendly.
Laura Stone was the lady who did my piercing, she had a very calm aura about her so I felt I was in safe hands, she discussed all the important information I needed to know about the piercing, she had a thorough look at my ear and explained exactly what the process was going to involve, she talked through the process step by step as she was doing the piercing which helped a lot with my nerves. I was amazed at how quick it was all done, I love my new piercing and it’s healing up beautifully.
I am already thinking about my next piercing and I will most definitely be going back to Allum and Sidaway and requesting Laura to do it. A big Thank you Laura and the staff at Allum and Sidaway.

I am so impressed with the service at Allum & Sidaway. I first came in for a welded bracelet as a birthday gift with a friend and had such a great experience; beautiful chain selection, applied with care and attention and they really made the whole thing feel so special. I've since seen back to look at wedding rings with my fiancé; once again it was such a lovely atmosphere and experience with a super selection of wedding rings. We've seen most of the team now and everyone is so friendly yet professional. I'm booked in to see Katie to look at wedding dresses and know I'm I safe hands. Thank you, you have a customer for life!

I went into the shop because I was hoping to buy a watch for my partner. What I actually saw was definitely not what I had wanted.
Forgive me for writing this because I feel a certain way about this already however, as a woman I feel that it must be said.
As I am waiting for someone to be free a young lady is serving a gent in front and as she makes any movement her skirt is so short that nothing is left to the imagination let’s say.
She is a young very pretty lady was wearing black skirt and blue shirt in the day I didn’t catch her name I’m afraid. I so badly wanted to say something as maybe she was unaware however, with my encounter I very much doubt that.
It is a shame because the establishment is such a high end store with beautiful products and seeing things like that cheapens the business
I hope this is not seen as slander and some criticism for the store.
Other than that I love the store and think the products are stunning.

Disappointing
Purchased a watch from the Ringwood store earlier in the week. Placed the order on Thursday 3rd, paid for the watch. Funds taken from my credit card same day, received a message to say ‘we’re getting your order ready’ then Saturday 5th told the watch had been sold.
Yes, the one I had actually paid for!
Requested a refund but as yet this has not been received and no pending transactions.
Really expected more from this jeweller.

Please be assured that the refund was issued on Saturday and typically this takes 3-7 days. I can see from my end that it was issued on the 5th and the refund was received and sent on the 6th.
Just to clarify, your original order was placed via our online platform on Friday, and as soon as we received it on Saturday morning, we then contacted you to inform you that unfortunately, the watch had just been sold and we would issue an refund immediately alongside proof of refund being issued at 1.51pm. We regret the timing of this overlap but believe we acted accordingly as we immediately issued the refund with our apologises on the day.
We understand your disappointment, but we kindly ask for your patience as a review by Sunday may be a little premature given the standard processing time for refunds.
If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. I have also requested more information on your review to ensure you have received your refund as our bank is under the impression its been received your end.
