The reviews are correct. They are a scam company. Their stock is in China and if I could show the photos of the items I received in comparison to what they advertise you'd see for yourself. Please avoid at all costs. Im trying to get my money back.

Diabolical! SCAM!!! Avoid at all costs! Shoes that arrived were poor quality (not like the photo on the internet) and did not fit. I asked to return them. They offered 25% of money back and for me to keep the shoes that wont fit and are poor quality. So I returned them to an address in China!! At a cost of £20 (knowing I would not get my refund despite their promise, ha ha!) and you guessed it, apparently the items are ‘stuck in customs’ and they won’t give me a refund as they, of course, haven’t received them yet. I doubt they ever will refund me. But I wanted to be able to write a review that said I tried but of course they don’t believe in their product either. This company is just trying to get money out of others for shabby products and no customer service. They do reply to emails to mimic a Uk company but they are only trying to get Uk money in whatever way they can. Do not buy from them no matter how good the photo looks. It is a scam.

SCAM! Clothing I bought was absolute rubbish, badly made & horrible material. Tried to return it: the address they gave was somewhere in China, despite them showing a UK address in Manchester, and pretending to be "Carter, London". (June 2025)

I thought the company was British only to find out goods were coming from China. I trainers took ages to arrive, they were cheap and the wrong size. I emailed for a refund but never got a reply. I should have been more vigilant, won't make that mistake again. I wouldn't touch them again.

Smell of petrol and cheap looking . I would never order again , false advertising saying Carter of London when in fact they are from China

The products came from China very bad and cheap quality smelling like petrol . This company is using a British brand name and on their website have pictures from Carter London retailer which I think they closed the company. I don't recommend to anybody to order anything from this fake company.

Bought a dress thinking it was from London as stated but only when tracking I saw it came from China. Dress was cheap and a bad fit despite me paying £39 .99. I asked for a return they offered to exchange for similar price order but I need to pay £10 or they will take return and give 15% of actual price back ...hmmm its a con DO NOT \TOUCH this company. Also since this transaction my bank has had to block my card as lots of transactions on my account that ware nothing to do with me.

It's not possible to give a zero star rating but that's what they deserve. Cheap, low quality tat from China. Massively over priced and nothing like the photos. I have just spent £23 sending it back to China for a refund but hold out little hope of ever seeing my money again.

Yes, I fell for the con. I wish I'd thought to look for reviews before ordering. I've paid £39.95 for a pair of sandals going for £10.49 on Shein! They've never seen London, other than a possible glimpse when they were unloaded from the Air China flight. Avoid this company

Deliberately misleading, lying website,
They make out it’s a small family London boutique but it’s actually mass produced tat from china. When the items arrived (jacket and shorts) the quality was shocking. Just don’t.

Like many other reviews on here I've had a pretty much identical experience. I ordered a dress, 21/05, there was no mention of delivery from China until the transaction went through. I contacted them and they sent some sycophantic email response. So persevered and dress (if you can call it that) arrived 05/06...oh my God, words fail me how bad it was, horrific in fact, cheap nasty polyester the advertised dress looks like heavy cotton....the quality is that of a cheap dolls dress. So I email them back n to we go, offer £9.90 to buy another item and keep the sh*t dress, erm no thanks! Then they offer 15% refund, nope, then 20% then 25% ..today I'm told they only give partial refunds, max of 30%. Anyway, I contacted PayPal yesterday and got an instant full refund. I'm not sure why others are still disputing it but PayPal were extremely quick. I've checked my bank acct and it's there. I can only think that they're onto them. I've also contacted Pinterest Business team who are investigating it, as that's where I stupidly accessed their website. To think that I was looking at other stuff to buy!! Disappointed in myself, but like so many others their site looks so convincing....dangerous very dangerous....wish I could have given them -5 out of 5!!!

Order took 2 weeks to arrive. Wrong size shoes sent. Although I’ve been wearing a uk size 6 or a 39 for years they insist that a 40 is the correct size and want to charge me £9.90 to send them back and get the correct size. ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL.

Yet another Chinese scam. Why do they let them advertise & mislead the public. They are cheap copies of designer clothes. They never give you your money back & tell you that it’s costs a lot to post back. Use trust pilot on deals that seem too good to be true.
