Absolutely appalling customer service
I would NOT recommend purchasing from this site. I have been in a dispute with them since March and all they keep doing is sending a generic apology email out. Avoid Avoid look elsewhere!

4 weeks from order, still not to arrived.....

Absolute terrible non existent after sales service... do not buy from them terrible company ... scammers..

Cheap tat, nothing like the photos which make believe that this is a closing down sale from an expensive London brand. Fabric and make are exceptionally poor and probably worth a quarter of what they charge - if that! Avoid. This is a rip off!

Please don’t order from this rip off company! I ordered a pair of shoes that looked nice comfy leather. I received shoes of the same style, but the quality is appalling! They arrived in a plastic bag and they stink of glue. So much so, the smell fills the room when I open the bag!
After a few emails back and forth and an offer of 20% refund. It seems the only other option is to foot the bill to return them to China. Surely they shouldn’t be allowed to trade? They have a Manchester UK address. I don’t think Carter has ever seen London!

This company presents itself as UK-based, using London branding to create that impression. In reality, items are shipped from China — a fact not disclosed at checkout. Order took over 20 days to arrive.

The sizing was inaccurate, and when I requested a return, I was told I must pay to send the item back to an address in rural China — a vegetable market, no less. Their “easy returns” claim is completely misleading.

They operate using a personal Gmail address, their Trustpilot page is unclaimed, and reviews show a pattern of identical complaints. I’ve opened a formal dispute with PayPal and have reported this business to Trading Standards and Action Fraud.

This appears to be a deceptive drop-shipping operation — AVOID.

I would like to give them zero but it’s not available , shocking from start to finish took nearly 3 weeks to come and the dress quality was shocking
Bag all ripped on delivery and the material so cheap .Not exactly the London store you think your ordering from when. It’s shipped three weeks later from china

I wish I had checked out the Carter London reviews before I placed my order!
Considering the company is based (as advertised) in London the item took some considerable time to be delivered, coupled with problems with the parcel tracking and then to add further insult the item delivered was clearly not what was advertised & ordered from the website.
So many reviews mirroring my experience, similar to other customers PayPal is my next stop once I get a response from Carter London

Disappointed in myself for falling for the same scam as so many other descent customers that placed orders in good will!

DO NOT RECOMMEND, ORDER DIDNT EVEN ARRIVE BEEN OVER 3 weeks and when I asked for tracking they gave me one that doesn’t work asked another 4 times and still nothing!!!!
Don’t buy off this website such a scam!!!

Carter London are advertising their products on Pinterest showing a customer review rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars and implying this is from Trust Pilot. Reading the reviews on here clearly that is not the case.

The frontage and website pretends to be a London based company.
The "Manchester" address shown is not a UK address.
In reality these orders are processed in the USA and shipped directly from China.
The 5 star reviews are modelled on TrustPilot but are made up.
Items offered are available from Temu at a fraction of the price.
The website & photos are lavish and the products are shown to look stylish. In reality the shoes I bought had thin uppers and soles, none of it leather, and weren't even waterproof when walking in wet grass.
Customer returns would be very difficult, lengthy and costly.
"Carter London Limited" was a company registered at Companies House but was struck off in February 2020.
I will be keeping well clear of this website.
The tactic appears to be to open various websites under various company names all having similar photos and claims.
Beware

Be aware that returns go to China at your expense.
Further to that my Returns entered China customs and never came out.

When is Facebook going to do something about theses? I would suggest this is yet another cheap Chinese Fashion knock off and once again it is not what it purports to be
