Lake Garda coach trip
Our recent coach trip to Lake Garda was excellent. The coach driver, Clive, and the on board tour guide, Clare, were brilliant, keeping us well informed throughout. The hotels were adequate but some meals could have been better. However the whole trip was extremely well organised and we would certainly recommend it.

Coach journey was very long with very early pick ups and ver late drop offs on the way back. Saying that, the holiday was brilliant. Went to new places and met new people. Food was good and hotels nice and clean.

Well chosen visits, shame about the poor planning.
Dislikes: 1. We were allocated a tour manager with no knowledge or experience of the places we visited. We could have seen and done much more with proper guidance. 2. Too many visits were packed in to too little time. We therefore had very limited time at each (exacerbated by issue number 1 above). 3. The meals at the hotel were almost identical every day.
Likes: Everything else. The visits were well chosen and the driver was exceptional.

Far too long on the road from beginning…
Far too long on the road from beginning to end. Apart from one hotel the rest were awful, the hotel we stayed the first night it was on an industrial estate in the morning there were not enough cups, plates and bowls for breakfast when I asked for a cup I was told the were in the dishwasher and none were available. The last hotel in Dijon we had to walk up 3 floors carrying luggage on an unlit spiral steer case, my husband is blind in 1 eye and finds stairs difficult in daylight, 2 coach’s arrived at the same time so 1 tiny lift couldn’t cope, our shower leaked so we had 2 inches of water on the floor, the bedside lights were hanging off the wall, staff ver unhelpful. The hotel we stayed in for most of the time was in a very narrow road so the coach had to park about 150-250 meters away luckily the hotel did help with baggage when we arrived. The amount of time spent driving to the places we were to visit were far too long and we were concerned about the driving hours. The driver and Stefan were fine but we did feel sorry for them both. I’m afraid I can’t say anything good

Main coach was good and roomy
Main coach was good and roomy, nice for us that it was only half full.
Driver and Tour Manager good and helpful.
Shame people in the office who organised trips didnt check on Sunday opening ( everything closed!) and half day closing.
First hotel was wonderful, second not so but Tour Manager contacted head office and better on return visit on way home.
Main hotel goodish, didnt like not being allowed just tap water with evening meal, had to buy everything.
Disappointed that despite visiting Black Forest didnt actually get near a tree and no opportunity to go for a walk in the woods. Couldn't understand the hurry to get back to our hotel early cutting short stops (ie outdoor Black Forest museum) that the majority wanted to spend longer at.

Overall a nice holiday but quite a few nighles
Like.
Very smooth transfers. Comfortable Journey. Good accommodation on both boat and hotel. Top class food on boat. Excellent driver who had an good local knowledge. Most excursions were interesting and enjoyable.
Dislikes. No booking in the club lounge on the ferry. This was resolved eventually but was stressful at the time. Tour guide has never done this tour before and had no local knowledge. He appeared to be googling what he did tell us.
Food at the Paris restaurant was poor. We paid to eat somewhere else on the second night. Not enough daytime cruising on this tour.
One solo traveller on the tour was extremely vocal about everything that was wrong for her. (That was just about everything)and swearing loudly at times. This made us avoid the group as much as we could. Palace of Versailles was over crowded which scared me and spoiled the visit for me.

It didn't quite realise how beautiful…
It didn't quite realise how beautiful the North Wales countryside is. The coach driver( Who was exceptional), took us to places I probably wouldn't have thought of, and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel room was a little tired, but I couldn't fault the breakfast or the evening entertainment. The hotel was located in the perfect spot. Overlooking the pier, the sea, and looking back on the clean and tidy town of Llandudno.

JustGo Grand Tour of Ireland.
I have just returned from a JustGo holiday in Ireland...and it was brilliant. The booking process and the payment was simple, the staff exceptional, and the arrangements were impressively smooth and without any complications. The feeder coach picked me up on time, and the driver, Peter, was friendly and an excellent driver. I joined the main coach at Derby, and spent the next 7 days being chauffeured around by one of the best drivers - Mick - that I have ever come across! I felt completely safe with him, he was pleasant, funny (his jokes were hilarious!), and very, very professional. He manoeuvred the coach with amazing skill, sometimes achieving the almost impossible.
The hotels were all excellent - comfortable, spacious rooms, and always plenty of help for those struggling with cases. The food provided at each hotel was also excellent. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and the evening meals were served hot, with good choices for each course, they were delicious and well presented.
The weather was kind to us, except for the day we did the Ring of Kerry. Mick's skill in negotiating the winding roads in poor visibility with low cloud, was impressive.
The only downside was the Tour Manager. Although she was absolutely knowledgeable about the places we visited, her people-handling skills need some extra training. She used swear words during her conversations with us - something that people of my generation are uncomfortable with, and when 4 of us wanted to visit the Guinness Tour in Dublin, we had very little help from her, had to do the booking ourselves, and had to find taxis to get to and from the venue - which, by the way, was amazing! She treated Mick - a professional driver - as though he were a novice, made him turn off the sound on his satnav, and generally bossed him around un-necessarily.
So, a wonderful holiday with only one downside - thank you, JustGo - I can heartily recommend you!
