The installers were on time, worked constantly, and installed the windows perfectly.
Cost-wise they are highly competitive.
Dermot even hung up a curtain pole for my son's room, which is way out of his job description!
Overall, an excellent experience for us. They were fast, polite, friendly, and the windows look great!

UPDATE: The ‘items’ you mention are two very small screw caps, with a retail value of under £2.00. The handle was not removed, we simply tightened two screws. Do you expect every customer to call you out every time they need to tighten a screw? I would be very happy to pay for the screw caps, but will not purchase a handle, because it is obvious to us both that a new handle is not required. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the handle. I think the LACK OF GOODWILL in this situation speaks for itself!

The product is ok, but the fitting is very poor, and customer service is awful. They really don’t want to know, after payment is made. We didn’t think we would use this company again after the installation, but recent communications with customer services has confirmed that we will never use them again.

We had new Windows & French Door installed by Orion Windows. We would highly recommend Orion from the fantastic job they did. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. The guys who fitted the windows were very professional & extremely tidy & very friendly. We are extremely pleased with a job well done .

Mark Brown from Orion visited yesterday. He took us through what had been identified as a problem by another tradesperson (not from Orion) but which was in reality not a problem; he had not been given the part which was required to solve another problem but made sure it would be posted to us; he 'clipped' on a part which had become seperated; he fixed two doors which we had been unable to open easily and finally he looked at our guttering and gave us suggestions about how to deal with build up. Throughout, Mark was courteous, professional, helpful and friendly. To be recommended. Thank you Orion, Thank you Mark.

We had six windows fitted by an excellent team from Orion Windows, York. They did a fantastic job. Nothing was too much trouble. Took down Blinds in the kitchen and Lounge and re fitted them when finished. The windows have improved the look of our property. I would recommend using Orion. Kept informed from ordering the windows to completion. Very Happy customer.

Very polite on the phone when making the appointment and helpful in moving things around to fit in with when we would be in. The engineer phoned us half an hour before he arrived to let us know he was on his way and was very professional, polite and efficient when making the necessary door adjustments.

Orion windows did everything they said they would do , the window fitters arrived prompt, they were very polite & friendly they did a first class job fitting my window they made little mess during installation, they left everything clean and tidy,I would definitely recommend Orion windows

I had quite a long wait for the engineer to get an appointment then a week before he was due to arrive Orion cancelled it and gave me a later appointment approx 3 weeks later. I was also told it was a two man job but in the end only one came. The engineer was Mark Brown who has actually done some work for me before ( through Orion) he’s extremely good at his job and always very professional. After finishing replacing the 2 panes of glass which he also cleaned and polished then cleared the rubbish and tidied up and left it how he found it. I hope I don’t need any further work doing but if I do I will be requesting Mark for the job. Thank you and well done Mark.

Have given 4* only due to fact it took 2 goes to change our front door due to sending wrong one and only 1 person first time.
Although when it did get swapped it was done professionally and quickly by the lads

Windows and doors fitted 6 years ago after other family members had used Orion for an orangery, windows and doors and were very happy with the quality and service. Recently had an issue with the handle locking on one of the windows. Contacted Orion and their response was excellent. No quibbling just keen to sort out the problem which they did. The fitter Richard Stevenson was friendly and knowledgeable and went further sorting out another minor problem and giving us useful maintenance advice. Really pleased with the after sales service and having a guarantee that we know will be honoured

I had a conservatory built by this company. As part of the work they had to move an outdoor tap to make room for the conservatory. The plumber they used worked on the plumbing inside and outside my house. I had a kitchen fitted after the work on the conservatory was finished. About 11 months after it was all fitted I discovered a significant leak on the pipework that had been installed by Orion's plumber. It has damaged my new kitchen, ruining a base unit the draw under the cooker, laminate flooring and kick boards. There is black mould on the walls which has made the kitchen smell. I complained to Orion before they changed management, they wouldn't accept responsibility for the damage. The new management won't honour the 10 year guarantee and will not take responsibility for poor workmanship. The flags they laid outside all started to move and the concrete crumbled. They did repair this though again it showed poor initial workmanship. Now the pointing on the step they built is crumbing. I would not recommend this company and would urge anyone considering this company for building work to read all reviews not just on this site.
