Many options were discussed before settling on the best one given my particular circumstances, and once decided, was followed up by a very prompt install. The whole process of installation was painless

I purchased a 15KWH Alpha ESS battery from Solar Battery Group. They removed my existing 5KWH battery which was woking. The battery they installed has not worked at any stage since installation. I've called the technical support team, who are based overseas, several times and they have only called me back once. They don't appear to have any tech knowledge. They tell me they have to speak to the manufacturer but can't phone the manufacturer and there is a three day waiting period on a email response from them. Their instructions so far, on more than one occasion, have been to turn off the battery and reboot it. Meanwhile they have sent something to the finance company administering the interest free government loan saying they have installed the battery, so I'm being contacted by them asking why I haven't signed the loan agreement. I'm still waiting for Solar Battery Group to either fix the problem or supply me with a battery that works.

We recently had a home battery installed through Solar Battery Group and have been very happy with the overall experience. From the initial consultation and proposal through to installation and follow-up support, the team was responsive, professional, and easy to deal with. The pre-installation team provided clear guidance, the installation was completed promptly, and communication throughout the process was excellent.

After installation, we had a minor issue with the battery monitoring, but the support team followed up and were proactive in helping resolve it. The system is now working as expected and has already helped us better manage our household energy usage.

Overall, a positive experience from sales through to support. I'd recommend Solar Battery Group to anyone considering a home battery solution.

Overall, I’m very happy with Solar Battery Group. I had a few issues during the sales process, but the installation went smoothly and the support afterwards has been great. Very happy with the price, installation, support and the battery system itself. Overall, a good experience and great value.

Good professionals competent and friendly installation

I am writing on behalf of my elderly parents who purchased an AlphaESS battery from this company. This was installed on 1 April 2026 and has not been functional since installation.

Their support is non-existent and they even asked my 85 year old mother to remove panels of a live electrical device with a screwdriver during troubleshooting! My father has handed me a large file of correspondence with many pages marked "No Response". We simply want a technician to visit the premises and set the battery up so it functions correctly.

Avoid this company at all costs. They should not be allowed to operate in this country. We are proceeding to a complaint with Consumer Affairs.

They were very professional with service and follow up.

At this point we are enjoying our solar battery. But still waiting for next electricity bill. Was able to earn 200 dollars already.The people who installed are very professional and they clean their mess after the work.Likewise the SOLAR BATTERY GROUP did a good job as well.
the only thing i can say on the negative side there were times i can find it difficult to reach you guys , because your company is situated in Victoria and iam in SA. i have to wait on the phone for a while which i can understand because of heavy traffic in your office.also hopefully when its black out , we will not be dark because it happened once. But overall you guys had done fantastic job. More power on your company and God bless.
