Solar Battery Group Reviews

Clearly articulated process: explanation not exploitation.

Professional service, great product. Really happy with the entire process and outcome

Booking and initial installation were fine but they installed an incompatible inverter. The promise was a quick swap out but lead to a fair trading submission and and about 20 phone calls from myself trying to get a resolution. Stupid me did what they asked and paid up front and so i lost all leverage, no escalation to managers as all tech support is offshored. If you do get swindled by the sales team at least dont pay the whole amount till the job is complete and working. Really bad experience.

Wow, one hour after this review I recieved a nice call from their Australian office asking how my experience has been and if I have any issues I can call them direct.

Great to see platforms like TrustPilot can support customers and keep the companies honest.

From information gathering to communication and installation, my experience was first class. The installer explained everything very clearly and his work was excellent, he left the job with all packaging and the immediate work area was left spotless. I was contacted and informed of the next step from inspection of the installation to how to access the app and understand it. I would highly recommend anyone looking at installing a solar battery to do so through The Solar Battery Company. #325461

Just worked. A little untidy with little bits of electrical waste but generally very professional.

The sales staff were knowledgeable and eager to insure I was fully across what the install process and costings included. The installer was a professional and well mannered man that I was comfortable to have in my home. I’m now paying only 1/6 of my previous energy bills and it’s only going to get better in summer. SbG were good to deal with, the whole process was easy. The installation team did a really good job. I needed help with the app a few weeks after and the support team were really helpful.

The insulation went ahead with no issues. The only problem I have that I failed to understand that it didn’t include the mechanism for coming on when the power went down which was one of the reasons for getting batteries in the first place. I assumed it happened no one explained anything to do with during the insulation phase

Great communication - every step of the installation. Comparable price to the market. Quick, efficient , tidy work done by the installers. Would recommend.

They say not to trust companies that advertise by letterbox drops, but after a bit of online research I realised that the offer from for Solar Battery Group was one not to be missed. My order #329590 was so smooth, and they answered all the questions that the online forums said to check on. The process was smooth with great communication, even leaving me enough time to investigate to make sure I was making an informed decision. I now have a great battery, that allows me to store the free energy throughout the day to use when I need it - I even splurged for the blackout protection, so I know my freezer won't thaw out in power outages! Would definitely recommend them for sure - Naomi D

The staff explained everything so simply and easy to understand. Great work yhanks

Huge shoutout to the team for installing my solar battery (Order #329654)! They did an amazing job with the setup and walked me through exactly how the system works. After making a minor tweak to my routine, I’m now receiving credits on my power bills instead of paying out of pocket. Top-tier service and real results—10/10 recommend!

A genuinely smooth experience from enquiry to install. Benjamin and the Solar Battery Group team were professional and knowledgeable at every stage, and the process quote, design, installation was easy and well communicated throughout.

The install team conducted themselves professionally and left the site clean and tidy, with all safety standards clearly explained. The monitoring app has been simple to use and integrates perfectly with our existing solar panels and EV charger. Very happy with the end result. Dean S
