I ordered on the 15th April and clearly showed at check out that items are in stock with a 2-4 day delivery. I installed the app as recommended by their order confirmation email and tracked on their shop, alas no movement.
I sent an email 4 days later when it became clear the items were not coming and got a response it will be despatched within 24hrs, still nothing... Called and spoke with representative who assured and promised it will be despatched immediately after explaining the urgency of the order and she promised to personally keep an eye and ensure it dispatched immediately so it gets to me on time, still nothing.
I'm on a timeline and I can no longer tolerate poor customer service, absolute misleading delivery timelines, and what is a very disappointing first order with this company. I will now do a charge back with my credit card company as I do not like being messed around by any company.
In hindsight it's better to buy locally or use companies that care to deliver on time as advertised or when they promise. Order from westbasedirect and be disappointed at your own expense like I have.

I had to add few items on my order,told me to place the order for collection but it’s going to be sent at the same time,of course it didn’t happened.
Long wait for the delivery.
And after that it was a complete shambles , email phone calls, don’t if i have been refunded to this day.
Worst customer service i have come across.

Excellent service, and great customer support with great pricing

Ordered a new Milwaukee tool from them orignally they emailed to say the item wasn’t in stock but will be back in stock in 2-5 days then dispatched. Then a week goes by and I recieve another email saying they are due my product back in stock in 3 months and they will dispatch it when it arrives!!! Obviously I asked for a refund as that’s far to long to wait and they replied saying they will process the refund. 1 month later still no refund so I email them asking where my refund is. They replied saying they are processing it now and it should be with me within the next 2-3 days. 2 weeks later still no refund. Sent them another email and no reply !!! Avoid this company at all costs they are either scammers or very incompetent at what they do.

Absolutely shocking experience with West Base Direct.

I’ve used them regularly for electrical fixtures, but this will be the last time. My recent order arrived missing switches, and despite clearly not receiving them, they keep insisting that everything was delivered.

No resolution, no accountability, and refusing to refund or even properly investigate. Just repeated responses telling me I’ve received items that I physically do not have.

For a company I’ve spent a lot of money with, this is beyond disappointing. Losing a loyal customer over something so simple to resolve says everything about how they treat their customers.

Would not recommend.

Seemed efficient... No confirmation email though

Had great experience with this company so far. Anything that has taken a little longer to get hold of, they have informed me straight away and done their best to get it out to me as quick as possible. Have used multiple times and will continue to do so. Very reasonably priced goods, delivered quickly with great customer service

My parcel was delivered by Royal Mail on Saturday morning which was great as I wasn’t expecting it until Tuesday after the Bank holiday.
