Very sharp and fairly easy to install…
Very sharp and fairly easy to install the chain on the saw. I have used the chainsaw one time, and some of the cuts were pretty rough. This could be because I am not fully accustomed to the tool.

TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY AND GOOD PRODUCT!
The company was trustworthy and shipped items promptly. The blower is strong and pretty easy to use. The only negative is that it is very loud and high pitched. I have neighbors nearby and I worry that it is too loud. otherwise a very good item and company.

Proved itself in its first challenge
It took some effort to get the initial setup correct, especially the chain tension. I worked on it a couple of times and felt I was good. Then, yesterday, a tree fell in the neighborhood blocking our main entry. A bunch of us came out to clear it and the WoodRanger was a great assist. I could work on the small stuff while the larger saws did their thing.

Stopped working after 6 months
*
Already threw it in the trash. After speaking with Customer Service they told me I could buy a new one for 30% off and now they’re saying oh let’s talk about how to get it to start again. It’s still six months old. It still doesn’t work. Bought the Ryobi same tool. At least they work.

Hi Eileen,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that your blower stopped working after only six months and that the assistance you received from our team did not provide the clear and helpful resolution you were looking for.
We understand your concern about initially being offered 30% off a new unit and then later being asked to troubleshoot the original blower, especially after you had already disposed of it. Your feedback highlights an area where our communication and support process could have been more consistent, and we’ll be sharing this with our team for review.
We appreciate you giving Wood Ranger a try, Eileen, and thank you for bringing this experience to our attention.

Great power tool
Great power tool. Love that the button on the handle does not need to be held down so I can switch arms frequently. Love how lightweight it is while still being powerful. The directions that came for assembly are severely lacking and should be improved or I would give it 5 stars.
