Amal has fully resolved my issue. She was very helpful.

Haven't had any major issues with Workwell apart from one request that the staff member didn't do when requested, but it did get dealt with in the end. Other that that it's great.

The worse services I ever had from an umbrella company, if you don’t want headaches stay away from it.

Worst company to work for poor management and ni training and request vast amount fir little money. Do not apply to them

Worst pay roll company and never again... ridiculous charges compare of my previous pay roll company and I instructed my agency to STOP my payment from them. You deduct twice NI from pay and left me with nothing, First time experiencing that and it's weird. I can't even say about other ridiculous charges.... it's a NO NO... So, bye

I just called Workwell for an Umbrella Company quote, and I was asked "if I am UK National or not". When I asked why does this matter, I was told they have different fees for "nationals" and "expats" aka foreigners...

- Since when my ethnicity matters in contracting???
- Does the colour of my skin or the matter to Workwell???
- Is this normal in 2025 to ask such questions and segregate people by ethnicity ??!!!

The staff were friendly and dealt with my enquiry professionally & efficiently.

I've lost the count how much in earnings i've lost through ,,you will be paid before 8am on friday,, only to see there's nothing there . Insurance for car unpaid = can't go to work , have to travel 50 miles one way , not a lot of fuel left = can't risk going to work not knowing if i'll have money to refuel to come back , bills didn't go out = getting calls + charged by bank for unreturned transactions , not paid for phone , can't call anyone and e.t.c there was occasions that i was not paid on friday at all but it went on to next weeks wage making me absolutely suffer for a week smoking up scatty tobacco i have as emergency from leftover pouches and thinking how can i survive emptying food cupboards and fridge eating literally what i have left and begging someone from site to come to pick me up , not like they need it and there was few times that nopbody actually lived where i live so i had to just stay home and then got replaced and lost my job . Never their fault , always either agency , either principal contractor , bank...bla bla bla never their fault . Fist time i got with these was in mid 2010's so they had my details back then , recently a series of ,,you will be taxed at 30%,, occured , simply because some numpty can not hear or spell , then you go shortwaged on friday barely making ends .
I have just two words for you F..... Y.... !!! I wish this happens to your company as often as you do to other people . I don't believe it's a banking issue , what i believe in is that money is used to generate money elsewhere for the working day and after trademarket shuts , they finally withdraw assets and then pay everyone , doing it every so often to farm money , just like government does it on a bigger scale with tax returns , i had situation where my 22-23 return came only with 23-24 in october , just some year and a half later , ironically troublesome year for a lot of people fell on the beginning of Russia-Ukraine hot phase of the war . We're not stupid , it's a known scheme that money can be made on trademarkets during just one day if sum is big enough to generate good income through percatnage , no point putting a thousand in , but if you put 500 000 that's a different story , also tipped off by tradesman can make it a guarantee that you won't loose since those people live and breath it and anticipate what market does so if they have their own person in there , that's exactly what's happening . Time to get held responsible in a way that if you don't pay wage on time , pay extra !

Didn't pay on time on more then one accasion. Useless wouldn't use them again. I advise anyone to use a different payroll company rather then this one. Every week a different excuse to paying the working man late. Manager useless. Phone staff useless. Company useless. Wouldn't trust them to walk a dog never mind with anyone's money

Very happy with how Barney T answered my questions very respectful and a very smooth process. The call lasted less than 5 minutes and still solved my problem

On top of that she helped me to understand why so much tax gets taken away from the large sum which I have always struggled to understand.
