Good overall experience with right to choose adhd assessment. There was a few hiccups with info not being passed on with regards to what I needed to bring to appointments & also how to book follow ups. I spoke to the team & they sorted it out for me so no big deal!

My daughter found the psychiatrist very easy to talk to and was made to feel completely comfortable throughout her assessment.

I went through the right to choose…
I went through the right to choose path, so far it has been a very smooth experience. Appointments are timely, appointment reminders (very helpful), available to ask reception any question prior to appointment, online and video chats makes things much easier for me personally. Would highly recommend using this route. Staff have been friendly and informative, and the service has been easy to use. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience through Right to Choose
I did a fair amount of research before selecting Berkeley Psychiatrists through Right to Choose, as I have friends who have struggled with incredibly long wait times, titration delays, and unhelpful clinicians when using other RTC providers. Having now gone through most of the ADHD assessment process, I'm very happy with the choice I made. I waited about 1 month between seeing my GP for a referral and being contacted by Berkeley Psychiatrists. I was then able to book my assessment for 2 weeks after that date. The assessment itself went very smoothly, the psychiatrist was understanding, and I received my ADHD diagnosis. I was then able to book in to start titration within a week of receiving the diagnosis (I know friends with other providers who waited over a year between diagnosis and titration). The titration appointments have also been excellent, with clear explanations of what to expect. Since my resting pulse is a bit low, they want to run an ECG as a precaution, which has slowed things down a bit, but honestly not much. I just received the appointment for the ECG today, 1 week after the titration assessment, with the appointment scheduled for 3 weeks time at a clinic that is a 20 minute drive of my house. While my titration process is not yet complete, my experience so far has been very positive, and I don't anticipate any issues once the ECG is complete.

Really quick and efficient process
Really quick and efficient process. I was able to book an assessment appointment within a few weeks of my RTC referral for adhd assessment being sent. My assessment then took place roughly a month after (but could have booked for earlier). Clinician was really friendly and welcoming and diagnosis given at end of appointment. Would definitely recommend!

Great service & very efficient
The wait times were surprisingly really short- maybe I was just lucky but I was seen very quickly for my assessment (via NHS right to choose) and started titration just a week later which was great. Both people I saw were lovely and took the time to explain things well and answer any questions I had. A very good, thorough service.
