Excellent Service
The items I ordered were in short supply nationally I only found out after ordering them. I contacted the ladies in the office who did manage to get me half my order and refunded me the remainder with out any issues. Excellent service particularly as it was a person I dealt with direct and not a bot.

Thank you for your feedback and for your positive comments about our pricing.
We have checked your recent order. It was placed on the afternoon of 14 September, and although most of the products were available in our warehouse, one USB socket had to arrive from our supplier. It reached us on 18 September, and your complete order was dispatched the following day.
We should have made the position clearer and kept you updated without requiring you to chase us. We’re sorry that we failed to do that.
We are reviewing how we communicate supplier lead times and how customers are proactively updated when an order takes longer than expected. We hope we have the opportunity to provide you with a much quicker and better-informed service next time.

Helpful customer service
DHL lost my original order, but the team at The Electrical Counter were prompt in acknowledging and sorting a replacement. They didn't make me wait until DHL's claims process was finished, nor made the experience more tricky than it needed to be. A fair price, and great customer service.

Good easy to follow online catalogue with plenty of ranges to choose from and competitive pricing too. Customer service excellent from confirmation of order, up dating on delivery schedule through to receipt of goods. First experience with this company and am already looking to purchase further items. So far cannot fault them.

Extremely slow with sending order
Extremely slow with sending order, did not keep me up to date with issue of items not being in stock even though website says in stock. Did not call me back, I had to chase.
I understand that people are busy but informing customers is important.

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your review. I have personally checked the history of your order, and I’m sorry that we failed to keep you properly informed.
You ordered on Saturday 12 September. The Click products were in our warehouse, but the Integral light had to be ordered from our supplier on Monday 14 September. It arrived with us on Friday 18 September, and your complete order was dispatched the following day.
Although the Integral product was available on our normal supplier lead time, our website did not make that distinction sufficiently clear. More importantly, once the expected 2–3-day timeframe had slipped, we should have contacted you proactively. The automated preparation and dispatch emails sent at the end of the week were not a substitute for the update and returned telephone call you were entitled to expect.
You should not have had to chase us. We are reviewing both how supplier-held availability is displayed on our website and how delayed orders and promised call-backs are followed up.
Please accept my sincere apologies.

Very Poor Service & misleading website
I ordered 4 off MCB's on 7/9/2026, all 4 were shown on their website with a GREEN TICK, and said 2-3 days delivery, CEF had given a 5-7 day delivery so I purchased from TEC.
After 4 days my order hadn't arrived so I phoned, turns out 2 off were not in stock but would be sent on the following Monday, but it took until the 19th to get sent, arriving on the 21st 14 days!!
Upon arrival 2 were wrong, they had sent 40A instead of 4A, even although all of their previous paperwork was showing the correct 4A. I contacted them and they said they would look into it for me, however the following day I got a message asking me to send them photos to prove that I was telling the truth!! and allow them to progress my claim.
It then took till the 23rd to send the correct ones, I finally got the correct ones delivered on the 25th, 18 days after my order that was meant to be in stock with a 2-3 day delivery shown.
Had I went with CEF I would have possibly got them in 5-7 days and saved myself the £8.49 carriage costs.
Even when I was on the phone to TEC their website was still showing a GREEN TICK and showing a 2-3 day delivery, even when they were still telling me they were out of stock.
About time they updated their website to show actual real time stock levels (other companies do this), and trained their storeroom operatives how to check incoming deliveries against their own orders before sending out to customers, but again I guess once they've got your money they don't care.

I’m genuinely sorry. Based on the information shown on our website, you were entitled to expect delivery within 2–3 days. Instead, you waited far too long, received two incorrect breakers and then had to wait again for the correct replacements. That is not the standard of service we aim to provide.
I have personally reviewed what happened. There were failures in our stock information, the time taken to dispatch your order after the stock arrived, and our final picking check. Requesting photographs is part of our normal process for identifying an incorrect item, but I completely understand why, after everything else that had gone wrong, it felt as though we were questioning you. That was not our intention.
We absolutely do care, and your experience has highlighted several things we need to improve. We will contact you directly and refund your £8.49 delivery charge as a minimum acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused.
