Delivery poor
I was happy on receiving my first order, so ordered again. I still havent received it, and the photo UPS delivery company took is not my address? I have tried to speak to Fireplace World but as yet not received a reply. I wont order again even though the products are good , the delivery is not reliable im afraid. I have lost money.

Arrived damaged then took three more deliveries to get all the parts!
First delivery we got had damaged pieces of the hearth. Second delivery we got looked great but had no fixings, Fixings were sent by customer service, one cam screw and one cam lock short. That was sent again by post. Then once assembled we realised the pipe was missing that creates the look of connecting the fire to the flume. This whole process has gone on for around a month and has not been worth the stress. Also, delivery guys they use email you an hour slot, in all deliveries they have arrived before then so ignore this to ensure you are in.

A few niggles, but overall you can't complain for the price.
Super easy to order and very well packaged, it came in three boxes, one for the main part of the fire, one for the flue and one for the log store. Very quick delivery. It actually arrived sooner than quoted which was a bonus. The fire looks good in our kitchen and looks like its a real wood burner, once you hide the electric wire at the back. Unfortunately this runs from the top of the fire, it would have been better if it had run from the bottom, which would make hiding it easier. There are another couple of negatives, one is with the flue, for the pipe to touch the wall it sits off centre from the top of the fire, the flue pipe needs to be 1-2" longer for it to sit correctly, they should offer different lengths when ordering. The other negative is that there is no glass screen in the artificial door which seems a bit odd; and finally the swiches for working the fire are right at the back which makes switching on and off difficult. Overall for the price you can't really complain, it looks ok in the room and hopefully works well when its starts to get chillier.

9 bought, 5 broken after just one year and they refuse both refunds and replacements. Absolutely disgraceful!
I bought a total of nine electric radiators for two different properties. Unfortunately, five of them have stopped working within just over a year.
This is extremely disappointing, especially considering that these were not cheap purchases and I bought multiple units from the same company. I contacted them after 13 months, but they are refusing to offer a replacement, claiming that the 12-month period has expired.
I find this unacceptable. Five out of nine radiators failing within such a short period raises serious concerns about the quality and durability of the products.
What am I supposed to do now? Am I expected to buy five new radiators after only a year? I chose these products expecting them to last significantly longer than 12 months.
I would like the company to reconsider my case and provide a reasonable solution, such as replacing the faulty radiators or offering a suitable alternative. I am very disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service I have received.

I have always wanted a log burner but…
I have always wanted a log burner but my home wouldn’t allow for one to be easily fitted without a lot of extra work to be carried out. Having looked into this, it was going to be an electric fire or the bioethanol log burner look. I went over to the showroom and Simon was very happy to show me the ones that were on display. Not only did he start one up but he also measured the one I liked to make certain that it would fit in the space available at home. He arranged for the items to be moved from the warehouse and within the hour we were heading back home, and yes I couldn’t wait, I had to get it going and it’s great. CO2 detector fitted and just waiting for the winter. Thanks Simon, great service. Mark
