Lady Annabel Astor, a serial entrepreneur on a mission to find special items to decorate her holiday home with, invited two friends along: her sister-in-law Sue Jones, whose decorating pedigree included stints at Jasper Conran and Colefax and Fowler, and Lucinda Waterhouse, a skilled horticulturist whose company made exquisite faux flowers. Together they set out to create a catalogue of charming home upgrades. From the start, the OKA team has called on talented artisans from all over the world to bring its ideas to life. Our furniture and homewares prioritise beauty, comfort and style, but we choose items for their integrity, not because they fit a prescribed look. The magic of OKA is the mix: hand-picked global treasures, rich textures and patterns, and timeless furniture profiles. It’s ever-changing but unwaveringly British; elegant and easy-going; sophisticated but never stiff. And our name? Top notch customer service
Customer service is top notch at the OKA in Guildford. Ottie and Caroline were particularly helpful. From sorting a last minute online cancellation and refund to expert advice on the right shade for my lamp base, it is clear that customers come first. A really positive experience.

Every item is beautiful
What I love about OKA is that my items always arrive in perfect condition. Within a couple of days of being ordered. Each item is beautiful and so well made. I'm a returning customer and never disappointed with all my purchases. I love how each piece feels individual to me. I've only ever had one issue, and that was my fault. I ordered the wrong colour, and OKA sorted my problem immediately. Even though I had received my item they sent the new one I wanted before the one I had was picked up to go back. There customer services is excellent. I highly recommend them.

The whole team at Oka Bath are great
The whole team at Oka, Bath are so helpful. Not only on advising furniture choices, but also if things go wrong. I had a recent delivery challenge with an arm chair and Natasha, Alex and Tom couldn’t have been more helpful. They put customer first, and ensured that I had a chair ready to take home, in time for my guests to arrive. They saved the day. And ensured I am now a very loyal customer. Great Customer Service
I received great advice from Suzanne with my cushion refresh. She was very knowledgable and took time to show me many different options which I really appreciated. Simona was also super helpful and took time to find me a cushion that I needed to complete a set.

Fault on sofa
Staff in shop were fine. Delivery good. Unfortunately my sofa has a fault- although I have been offered a repair, or replacement I feel more attention should be made to items before delivery so as to avoid the hassle of repair or exchange. Quality control should be better from a shop like Oka.
