Together they set out to create a catalogue of charming home upgrades. From the start, the OKA team has called on talented artisans from all over the world to bring its ideas to life. Our furniture and homewares prioritise beauty, comfort and style, but we choose items for their integrity, not because they fit a prescribed look. The magic of OKA is the mix: hand-picked global treasures, rich textures and patterns, and timeless furniture profiles. It’s ever-changing but unwaveringly British; elegant and easy-going; sophisticated but never stiff. And our name? OKA is a phonetic take on ochre, a colour that nods to the East, yet feels innately British. A blend of cultures and aesthetics working in perfect harmony, which is at the heart of everything we do. Building on over two decades of collections, 13 experiential stores in the UK, a website, and an ideas-packed magazine, we’ve become a destination for lovers of home, season after season. Very helpful staff made an enjoyable shopping experience
I wanted a new lampshade to go with my own base . The staff in the Bath store were exceptionally helpful and friendly today and a really charming young man helped me choose a shade and provided the additional ‘ lifter ‘ so everything worked . Thank you !

Impressed with Danielle, the Guildford store manager. I enquired about stock by telephone, she was so helpful and encouraged me to come in-store. A previous order placed online had not yet been delivered, she quickly found the items for me in-store and concluded the transaction easily, proactively suggesting to cancel the Web order in parallel. Fantastic approach, high touch customer service approach and practice, everything easy and delightful with Danielle.

Great products terrible delivery
OKA have an amazing array of items but they use the worst delivery company, drivers are rude, dirty and have no respect for your high end item or indeed your home. Also charging £20 for delivery of any item and furniture £95 for such a poor delivery is somethjng OKA need to address

I am leaving a review for Polly at Oka in Guildford, because I genuinely feel her level of customer care deserves to be recognised.
I came into the store a few times with my husband to pick foral arrangements (September 2026). From the moment she helped us, Polly was engaging and incredibly patient. We were taking our time deciding, and she never once made us feel rushed or pressured. Instead, she listened, took an interest in what we were looking for and gave us her time and attention so generously.
Polly showed comprehensive knowledge about the floral arrangements and is clearly very passionate about her work. She made us feel valued as customers and took real pride in helping us find something that was right for us.
In fact, it was Polly’s approach and care that made the difference for us. We chose to purchase from Oka Guildford rather than elsewhere because of the experience she gave us.
Polly’s exceptional level of customer service really stood out. She has a natural warmth, professionalism and enthusiasm that made such a difference to our experience. We left the store feeling looked after, and that was entirely down to her.
Polly is an absolute credit to Oka, and I sincerely hope her efforts are recognised. I work in a senior management role in another sector, and I recognised genuine skills and qualities in Polly. She has a natural ability to connect with people, a genuine passion for her work and a level of care that cannot simply be taught. These are qualities that I hope will take her far in her career at Oka.
She is exactly the kind of person who makes customers want to return, and someone any organisation should be proud to have representing them.
