the WORST i ordered for a sympathy of the passing of my infant niece to my sister AN all purple flower NO OTHER COLOR arrangement in a tall clear vase called Perfectly PURPLE Bouquet for 84$ which is the color we honor my Niece with in the family on her anniversary as we did at her funeral ....instead they sent a short Valentines arrangement in a square RED vase with white red an 2 purple flowers in and when i complained how wrong the arrangement is they said sorry for the inconvenience heres 10$ have a nice day ! are u kidding me? i just wanted them t send the CORRECT flowers but nope they dont care ! NEVER EVER USE THEM the worst NO STARS ! seriously stay away they dont care they just take your money and thats it .

I ordered a premium bouquet for a sick relative. The order showed up on time but was 1/4 the size and looked nothing like the photos on the site. Basically what amounts to a $10 grocery store bouquet for $100+. The customer service is atrocious. They said they can substitute per their policy but would not address the quantity/size issue at all. Do NOT use this vendor.

I placed an order on their 800 number for a specific bouquet of flowers on Monday to be delivered on Wednesday for an anniversary.  Their website claims they would send an order number in their confirmation email.  I got an email but there was no order number in it.  Wednesday afternoon the flowers had not arrived so I called the 800 number,.  They assured me the delivery was en-route.  An hour later I get a voicemail stating the specific bouquet I ordered Monday was not available, could they substitute and deliver it Thursday.  I called (was on hold for 20 minutes) and told them to forget it.  A day late and not what I was assured I could get when I  ordered is totally unacceptable.  I'll be watching my AMEX and will dispute if a charge ever shows up.  I wish I had found this page sooner.

Ordered flowers for a funeral service 3 days before the service. They call me the afternoon they were suppose to be delivered and say they can't deliver because they don't have inventory. This place is a scam!! Apparently it's a call center somewhere on the other side of the world. Please do not order from this place!!!

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would. Their website is full of lies - nothing is fast, free or delivered same day. I ordered a nice bouquet of which their website indicated was available first thing yesterday morning. They waited until 6:33pm to call me and tell me they didn’t get their flower delivery and would have them put the door the next morning. Then they call me at 2:00pm the next day to tell me they won’t be able to deliver them until tomorrow. DON’T USE THIS FLORIST! SCAM ALERT! Absolutely no sense of customer service whatsoever.

I could kick myself for not checking online before placing my order. This was for a funeral. They took my order and, of course, my money. I got a text after hours saying 'we're sorry; we cannot fill your order due to supply chain issues. Are you ok if we fill it tomorrow?' This is accompanied by a voicemail from someone that sounds like they're in the Philippines with the exact same message. Like a dummy, I said, 'sure, if you can guarantee it'. Needless to say, another day has come and gone. I only get a long 'on hold' or a Voicemail which doesn't get answered. I've texted back to the same number they texted me from and have said 'contact me immediately!'. Of course, no text; no call back. Now to call my bank and file a claim for my money. This should be interesting! I hate that so much of the floral business is now online. So hard to find a bricks and mortar florist with a person you can talk to. This is the last time I ever order from Terry's Florist or any other .com site for flowers. Caveat Emptor!

They promise same day delivery only to call you at the end of the day to let you know they don't have the flowers and push it off two days. Then they call again on Monday when the flowers were supposed to be delivered at 4pm in the afternoon to tell you they have to push it off again. Thankfully they cancelled and refunded. I will not order from them again. Do not recommend.

I ordered funeral service flowers over 24 hours in advance of the funeral. The day of the funeral I received a call that they didn't get their flower order so they asked if the delivery could be delivered the following day, obviously too late for the funeral so I changed the delivery to the recipients home for the next day. I got a call again the next day that the flowers still didn't come in and they wanted to delay delivery yet another day. I agreed to delay again. Then when they were supposed to be delivered I called to check the status and was left on hold for over 1/2. Finally I was told again that their flower delivery didn't come in and they asked if they could deliver the following Monday. I let them know that this was for a FUNERAL, and that it was insulting to deliver flowers three days later and I cancelled the order. I was told I would get a confirmation email of the cancellation which I did not. I never received a confirmation email of the order either but did see that the fee was deducted from my checking. I tried to call back to check the status of the cancellation and credit but was left in the recording hell again for over a half hour so I hung up. The following day I still had no email confirmation but I did see the credit in my bank account. I noticed after the fact that there were numerous negative reviews online for the same issue. DO NOT USE this florist. Don't make my mistake and hopefully folks read reviews first.

Wish I would have read all the bad reviews of this florist before I ordered 2 bouquets for a funeral visitation. Received a notification 2 hours after the shop closed that they were not able to fulfill my request. Luckily we were able to order from another florist. One star is one too many. I’d give it a negative 5!

This company is fraudulent. Don't waste your time like I did. Call FTD...my daughter's birthday was ruined for me!

Not even worth a 1 star rating!!!!!!!!!! Total scam?fraud. Short version: I ordered an arrangement for a funeral. They notified me around the time of the funeral that they could not complete my order and would refund. By that point it was obviously too late to contact another florist! This is NOT a legitimate business much less a “family owned and operated business. I made a huge mistake with them. Please do not do likewise!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! Ordered same day flowers to be delivered at 11:00 am. They waited until 4:30 pm to call and tell me they could not fulfill the order. Too late to order elsewhere. Beware!!!

Placed my order at 9:00am, was charged $15.99 service fee that I was completely unaware of until I got my order confirmation. No where in my order summary before I clicked submit was I told about this charge. Then at 3:15pm, I was called and told they wouldn’t be able to complete my order due to supply issues. I asked for a refund and was immediately called back and notified that they would now be able to do it. At this point I’m not even sure what I order is what is being made. At 5:30p I called to check status. Had no idea that I wasn’t ordering local, I was routed to a call center who couldn’t even tell me if my order left the shop and was in the delivery van. I asked for a refund, the rep was extremely rude, talked over the top of me, put me on hold and then came back on and said my order has been canceled and I’d be refunded. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

Terrible con artists running this business. Confirming certain flowers and then delivering some ragged completely different flowers for $100. I will be contesting with my bank

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I ordered a plant at 10am for same day delivery and they called at 3pm to cancel the order. Said their flower delivery didn't come in today...I ordered a plant, not flowers! Calling 5 hours after an order when it's too late to place the order elsewhere is unacceptable!

Ordered a bouquet of flowers, titled “just to make you smile”…with the expectation that the delivered product would be somewhat similar. WRONG!!! The bouquet that was delivered did not resemble the one I ordered whatsoever. To add insult to injury, no card was included and nothing that would identify where they came from. I don’t get it. My mother in law, the recipient of the flowers thought a neighbor had dropped them off to show off their greenery from their yard. I contacted terrys florist and they had a totally unacceptable response. Of course they apologized and gave me a 20% refund but added a pdf of their store policy. Which I pointed out that one…was from Nevada (I live in VA) and two stated that they had a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. They missed that part.
Oh and by the way, all done through email. I called and the lady I spoke with apologized and stated she would direct my complaint to her supervisor.

I ordered flowers for my wife’s 60th birthday and I expected them to be delivered on her birthday to her work. I called them at 3:30 pm and asked of they were going to deliver before 5pm because she would be going home at that time. The rep (with thick Indian accent) told me they will not deliver to a commercial building after 5pm. I told the rep I wanted to cancel and after being put on hold for 30 minutes the rep came back and told me they would refund my purchase. I actually never saw the charge go out of my account so at least they didn’t get my money! I would never order from this company again. Beware!

Ordered in the morning for a funeral. Told me at 3 PM that flowers did not come in. Said they would deliver them tomorrow. TOO LATE! DON'T USE THEM! VERY UNRELIABLE AND I SUSPECT THE PEOPLE ON THE PHONE ARE NOT BASED IN THE US. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM FOR FRAUD. WISH I HAD LOOKED THEM UP BEFORE USING THEM.

Didn't deliver the flowers for a employee who's mother died. Employee didn't thank us, had to finally ask if they received the flowers. Not fun!!! The worst was when I called, they didn't seem to care. Pisses me off.
The other thing they present themselves as being local, local in NJ. Should be against the law. Save the embarrassment, stay away from terrysforist.

The worst experience of my life!!! my brothers funeral and the flowers never arrived. My folks arrangement was a tiny not well done vase ordered premium. When complained they said that we needed a picture!!! who takes a picture of an arrangement on the alter of a funeral?? I will write a review everyday until my money is returned. Do not bother to call as they put you on hold and never come back. Never order for this company. Does not even deserve one star
