They lead you to believe they are a local company, but in reality, they are an order consolidator and have no local presence. It might take slightly longer, but use google maps to find a florist in the area of need and avoid the BS and hassle of using Terrysflorist.com

Did not deliver flowers ordered. After getting the courage to ask the recipient if it was received, I called company. They said they'd look into it and get back with me and they never did. Sent an email saying they were canceling order a LATER. When I called, I got someone who said they didn't get a flower delivery and couldn't fulfill the order. When I questioned, they hung up on my and put their phones on direct Voicemail. Never received a receipt showing refund.

They don’t even deserve a single star. Scammers!!!! Ordered flowers for my best friends mom’s funeral. Never delivered!!!! How dare they do this to people during these times of sorrow!!!! Unimaginable pain they’ve caused.

Be warned! Do not order from Terry’s florist, Jarrettsville Maryland. One of our friends lost their mom and the viewing is today. I ordered flowers from Terry’s last week. Their site says “same day delivery to McComas” which is where the service is. First they called to say they didn’t have what I ordered from their “in stock” selection and asked for me to change. Then, 15 minutes before the start of this sad day, they called to let me know they weren’t available to deliver at all!
Shameful!!!

Ordered flowers for a friends funeral. Received a call 1 hour before service to tell me they could not deliver the flowers and they are cancelling my order. They could have called hours before and told me so I could have made other arrangements. The lady that called was so thick with an accent I could barely understand her. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

I was promised same day delivery and confirmed twice with the woman I ordered from. The delivery was never made.

I have now been on hold for 20 minutes waiting for someone to assist me.

I was so very disappointed in the floral arrangement that was delivered to my daughter-in-law. It was nothing like the picture on their website. I wish I had checked all of these negative ads before I ordered from them. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM TERRY'S!!! They delivered something I specifically told them NOT to use and not what I suggested since they said they did not have the vase pictured. I told them NOT to use a clear vase; that is what they delivered. I was totally angry when my son sent me a picture of that they delivered.......I even thought it was ugly!!! I believe I deserve at least a partial refund!!!!

Ordered an arrangement paying the extra for a premium ; they add a service fee , they give no update on the delivery process and the bouquet has nothing to do with what you order !! Cheap and tired flowers and cheap vase.when I complained they refunded me the service fee and told me their website warns there can be changes in flowers . I should have looked at the reviews before ordering from them !

I ordered flowers for a friend that lost her brother. Received a text asking to call the company as there was a problem with my order. I called and they asked if they could deliver Saturday instead. I wasn't happy but agreed. At 9pm Sat I text my friend and no flowers were ever delivered, nor a call or text like before. I called 4 times yesterday and kept getting hung up on. Finally spoke to someone and said the charge would be voided. They are NOT local as advertised and the worst customer service ever! DO NOT USE THEM AS YOUR FLOWERS WON'T ARRIVE!!! I will be contacting the BBB

This is for the Sayville NY location..Ordered a $209.00 pre tax Rose Heart arrangement for a wake. Received a 12 inch round disk with cheap ass flowers and 4 Roses…maybe worth about $50.00 max. We told them about the mistake. I had to send pictures. Another arrangement twice as big ordered from the same florist was $189.00…they offered $60.00 refund…I told them that was NOT satisfactory and they wouldn’t budge, Also I think they thought we were from out of town as we provided a Florida area code. Do your self a favor, don’t use this company. Even with the $60.00 back it was a complete rip off…This was the location in Sayville NY Long Island.

This is THE WORST company ever! I ordered a beautiful, huge flower arrangement and a card and a balloon for my nephew ($127 including delivery) and was promised the flowers, card and balloon would be delivered by 6pm that day. I received notification that the arrangement, card and balloon had been delivered. I didn't get a call from my Sister, which she ALWAYS calls to thank me and let me know when flowers have been delivered and when I called her I found out that NOTHING had been delivered!!! So I called Terry's customer service and they argued with me that the flowers had been delivered, when they had not. I kept calling and calling to find out WHEN they were planning on making the delivery and FINALLY around 8pm something was left at my Sister's front door. The delivery person did not ring the bell. My Sister only knew something was left because they have a Ring. There was NO card, NO balloon and the flowers that were left on the doorstep was a tiny, little vase with 2 flowers and some greens that looked like they were cut from someone's yard and placed in the vase. I sent pictures to Terry's as requested and they would not deliver the flowers I ordered or give me a FULL refund. They offered me a refund of $20 and change!!! I had to dispute the charges with my credit card companh and Chase gave me my money back immediately! I did not even have to wait, because they could see how ridiculous it was that Terry's thought what they delivered was worth any amount of money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! It is a scam/rip off!!! They are so not professional!!!

I recently ordered an arrangement for my sisters funeral. It was suppose to be roses with a tall beautiful porcelain angel with long hair like my sisters and had gold along the sleeves and wings. My sister collected angels and I wanted this keepsake for her husband. Instead, what they sent was an ugly brown box holding the flowers with an ugly fat cross and an angel that looked like the hobbit and wasn't even visible. It was pushed down into the flowers. I was burying my sister and to see the ugly arrangement they had sent was even more upsetting. No where on their site does it say there might be substitutions. I ordered this arrangement specifically for the roses and beautiful angel. We tried calling them to see if they would do something to rectify this but all they did was put my husband on hold for almost half an hour and had nothing but excuses. The flowers I ordered for my beloved sister was not even close to being represented on their site. They have poor customer service if you get any one on the phone to begin with. When we called they asked if we had a picture of the flowers they sent. Who at a funeral stops to take pictures of flowers when you are overwrought with grief? Please do yourself a favor and forget this place. Losing my sister was hard enough or losing anyone's family member. Apparently these people shouldn't be in the business of flowers because they have no compassion for the loss of your loved one if they can allow this to happen and not come clean about the fact they messed up and do something besides throwing a few dollars back to you .. This place should be shut down or investigated at the very least. Hopefully our review will prevent someone else from being burned by this place. If I could I wouldn't even give these people 1 star.!!!!!!....Jane W.

DO NOT ORDER FROM TERRY'S FLORIST!!!- Horrible customer service , delayed delivery without notification, then assured it would be delivered, then cancelled. This was an arrangement for an anniversary of death and now its days past. They could not have cared less. ALSO ,THEY ARE NOT LOCAL as stated on their website. They are a CHAIN and "contract " with other florists. SHOP REAL LOCAL not FAKE LOCAL like Terry's

Very poor communication. Repeatedly misled me about what was possible/likely with respect to delivery. Did not deliver with appropriate card and then lied about it. They advertise "day of delivery" and I opted for the following day, figuring that if they were advertising honestly that this would not be an issue or that they would communicate with me appropriately if it was not possible. They only called me the day after they said they would deliver to try to fix errors and never contacted me to confirm delivery. (I had to follow up/get information from grieving family members to get answers and then call Terry's Florist again.) Overall, an unnecessarily stressful experience I especially did not need in light of the funeral the flowers were for. The lack of empathy for why timing mattered and why I was requesting honest communication was striking.

There needs to be a no star for this business, service is awful, never got delivery made two days in a row after being promised, refused to acknowledge poor service, and had the opportunity to correct the situation and did not take action. This is my second bad experience. I should have learned the first time.

This company should be sued! BBB will be notified if the charge is not removed by end of business. Like all the other reviews, no delivery. 9 calls to the 888 number resulted in the same BS, they didn't know anything, put me on long holds, promising a call back.... that never came. Birthday has come and gone, no flowers and the charge is pending on my CC. SHAME! Likely a fake website!

If i could give less than 1 star i would. ordered a birthday bouquet for $80 delivered but it was not delivered on my daughter's birthday because they said the flower truck didn't arrive. so the next day she received a silly looking bouquet that i could have made. half of what i ordered. come to find out over 500 people had the same issue. NEVER trust these people with your floral needs.

I ordered flowers for a dear friend's birthday and they were never delivered. Typically, I call my friend or send a birthday text. This year, I knew I wanted to do more as she has some personal stuff going on. I wanted her to know that I was thinking of her and sending love. Her birthday came and went. I messaged her the day her birthday after and asked if she had a good day and if she received my "happy birthday" wish. She said she hadn't. I called the number for the florist and got customer service. After a long hold, I was told that the flowers were not delivered. I explained that I was very upset and that I wanted to speak with someone from the store since this representative said that she was in customer service and not in the actual store. I wanted to know what happened and why I didn't at least receive a phone call. A little while later, I received a call back from the same representative. She apologized again and said she could give me a refund. I asked why the flowers weren't delivered and she said some of the flowers were out of stock. I asked why they didn't call me. I would've told them to substitute. Again I told her that I very much wanted a call back from someone from the store. I couldn't believe that I ordered flowers to do something extra special for my good friend and instead she didn't hear from me at all on her birthday. And I didn't receive a single call from the store explaining that my order couldn't go out. If they had called, I would've been able to order from another location or at least make other plans to connect with my friend. This issue still isn't resolved as I explained that I didn't want a refund. I want my friend to get her flowers and I want to know why they didn't go out in the first place.

Save your time & energy and order flowers elsewhere, i placed an order and they canceled it saying they could not get the product, no offer of making something else, just "tough luck we cant help you"

I wish there was a way to leave less than a 1 star review! This florist is a scam! They are not local to Nags Head NC! They are NOT family owned and operated! And they are unable to deliver products ordered! They are not EVEN IN THIS COUNTRY!
