Second order, highly recommend Meaco.
This is my second order from Meaco, my original Arete 12L is still working well after several years of steady use, but needed another one for my loft. Easy to use website, clear descriptions, great price on the ABC Dehumidifier I wanted, plus super fast delivery, even though I am in NI.
Great delivery communication from Meaco and DPD. The dehumidifier is working well, so far so good, will definitely highly recommend ordering from the Meaco website.

Easy to operate and very quiet
Reasonably easy to operate and very quiet. I bought the 12L model with Wi-Fi control, which is great for drying a single room and or washing.
Connecting it to the app was a little awkward. The app is functional but could certainly be improved, although this is not a major issue given how I use the appliance.
Overall, I am very pleased with it.
Additional note: I don't feel the need for a HEPA filter. I use some PC open-cell polyurethane filter foam (reticulated/dust-filter foam) instead. It captures fine dust that gets through the standard outer filter and is easy to vacuum clean and reuse. This should help keep the appliance's internals clear of fine dust and reduce the need to use a dust blower to clean it.

Hi Andrew,
We're delighted you're very pleased with your 12L model and that you're finding it quiet, easy to operate and particularly useful for drying both rooms and laundry. It's great to hear the Wi-Fi control is proving useful too.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the app setup and functionality, and we'll ensure those comments are taken on board. Thank you as well for sharing your experience with the filtration, although we'd always recommend following the manufacturer's guidance regarding filters and maintenance to help ensure the appliance continues to perform as intended 🌿📱

Effective af removing moisture and…
Effective at removing moisture and quiet when running, however, it's heavy to move around. The 12l size has a handle inset at the back which doesn't help as it tips forward when carrying it. The video clip, I watched, showed a handle at the top which would have made it a bit easier to carry and move about. Would not buy again due to weight and no castors.

Good morning,
We're pleased to hear you've found your dehumidifier effective at removing moisture and quiet while running. We appreciate your feedback regarding the weight and handle position, and understand how castors or a different handle design could make moving the unit around easier. We're sorry this aspect of the design has left you disappointed, and we'll ensure your comments are passed on as valuable product feedback.

Good service
Ordered Saturday afternoon, arrived Tuesday. No issues with delivery. It's a present, but recipient says it was easy to set up and so far everything is grand.
Was slightly confused that delivery emails came from a different company, particularly when that company has poor Trust Pilot reviews but we had absolutely no issues and very happy with the service we received from Meaco Dehumidifiers.
